Look at that. Earth. You want it, you can try to get it. Problem is, everyone else wants a piece of that mass.
Who are you going to be?
Sitting Bull?
Stalin?
Gandhi?

Civ 4 is a turn based strategy game available for the computer. In it, your goal is to build an entire civilization, picking everything from your religion to your economic goals to what kind cavalry you use to kill some bears. You can even play online, and this thread is for people who wish to do so.
(Also the Steam version is compatible with the instore version. So if you guys can pick up the expansion on Steam without any hassle.)
WHO WANTS TO CONQUER THE WOLRD?
(If you have Beyond the Sword, the new expansion, that is.)
You don't need to get Warlords to play Beyond the Sword; BoS comes with Warlords content.
As for Civ 2, I never played it. All I know is that you can do a lot more in the late game than you could before. Also, random events happen (like your scientists will have a break-through and you'll get more research, or a tornado could ruin your opponents crops.)
Well, I am saving my money for other purchases so I can't buy this, as much as I want a solid strategy game of some sort. I mean I can't even spare that sort of cash at this point.

I ain't got the time, nor the expansion, to get in on this
Who wants to civ with me?
EDIT: Wait, expansion?
That's hella gay!
I simply can't upgrade it.
There are people I play this game with!
I heard rumors of it coming out on 360 though.

Sorry
What did you dooo.
Is it worth my hard earned dollars? Will it please me like the first civ game did?
It's the Risk of videogames. It's incredibly fun, but getting together and completing a game is mind-numbing.
Espionage adds a ton and the random events make it sim city-esque and all the other little things rock
I have been playing it a ton lately
If worse comes to worse, we can always save the game and play at a later time
I've heard the expansion is great too
damn you cash!
i'll buy it next week. i have some best buy gift certs somewhere
MEISS
HRURUGGHGHGABAALLABABHH
I'll see what I can do.
Seriously I only played it for roughly an hour several months ago. I used to spend days playing a game of civ3.
Also Stalin was one classy looking motherfucker.

It's about to get civil in this motherfucker.
edit: Anjin that was funny and I laughed
which is more than I have to spend for something I have so little time to play
my general rule when it comes to PC games is twenty dollars or less
it's how I got half-life 2
