I suspect that many of us who attended PAX might like to find fellow comPAXtriots (sorry) / gamers in the geographical area where we live, so here's a thread to post where you're located! No specifics are necessary, just "I live in Boise, Idaho, and I'm interested in connecting with other gamers that live nearby."
The idea is similar to the "who was this person" thread, but to connect people you might not have had the opportunity to meet at PAX. 8-)
I'm interested in learning about PAX goers / gamers in the DC / Northern VA area!

I made it out to my first PAX and first major con in general this year.
I'm pretty much smack dab in the middle of the country, just outside Kansas City, MO in the city of Liberty.
If anyone in the KC metro wants to get together for some gaming (I've got all the next-gen systems and a compy with a bunch of emulated stuff, most of my classic stuff is in storage), movie watching (I've got a 55" widescreen TV and a decent if not earth-shattering 7.1 system) or just plain geeking out, fell free to contact me.

I live in Kirksville, MO. I made the trip there with 2 friends...driving. We left Thursday morning and returned Tuesday morning. It was around 30 hours both ways.
Issaquah, WA here. It's just east of Bellevue. I'll be up at Western Washington University in the fall though, if anyone is going up there.

Southern Oregon.... Grants Pass to be specific -.- Blink and you miss it. Went up with three others from here, none of which visit the boards.

Holy crap my band played a show in grat's pass last year at the comatorium. that place sucked donkey balls, and my band mate got cut off at the gas station.
I'm way up Northeast in South Burlington, Vt. I don't suspect there are many Vermonters on these here forums, but it would be cool to get some people together somewhere central on the East coast at some point.

I'm usually down there once a year for a family reunion down in Ozark. Sadly the next one isn't untill June next year.

Oh hells yes. See the Shorty's thread about the pinball tourney too.
If I can organize a breakfast for PAX, we should be able to put something together.
However!
The real reason I'd like to use this system is to meet folks from Austin, TX - I'll be moving there in about a month, month and a half.
I was in the BaboViolent tourney with you :-D "And the winner of the creepiest comment goes to..."
Also a (recently adoptive) Seattlite. Clearly a technologically incompetant one too, 'cos I'm buggered if I can find a Shorty's thread.

At least there was one other person from the east coast in this thread
Can I come? (Renton Represent? No, wait, Renton kinda sucks...)
Me, my wife and 5 of my friends came from the Philly area.
Small world, I was accepted to Truman State, but never attended.

As long as I don't have to give you a ride home...
I have a car, as well as am a blackbelt in Metro-Fu. =D
Perhaps there can be an east coast event for us (us meaning east coasters) to meet up at.
Any bay area folks send me a PM or an email.
I exclaimed "Khoo is my Sensei!"
So if memes make great shirts,
And Pod Six is Jerks,
Then Moe, Khoo and I had our day.
Im always lookin to meet more gamers if anyone wants to chill

There are a few events on the East Coast but none of them really compare to PAX.
