do you have the original source of that avatar?
Take my name off the list so someone else can get the next set, and thanks to whoever sent all the invites out.
Unfortunately, I'm having a hell of a time trying to download the program. Download speeds of 30 k a second, for a 300 meg file is not nice. On top of the fact that it keeps timing out, and their servers don't support resuming. So it looks like I won't be playing tonight at least...

I knew there was a reason why I wanted to start a summoner so badly.
If anyone is giving out invites, I would LOVE to get in on it!!! Thanks! 8-)

You still playing Krunk? I got some good shoulders for you then! Shoot me a tell: Innuenda
That was fast...
EDIT: So, I have to say this about the Red Hand. A swarm of Bloodlings is something that must be experienced. They are so goddamn fast, and so cool.
they die like something fast though.

Yeah, I'm gonna skip Imps for the time being, so that I can pick up the HP improvement skill.
My biggest complaint is that in a big fight I can't summon them because all of the mobs attack them as soon as they spawn. So I'm left to my own devices in big boss fights and this usually results in me dying.
acct: Fandanglehof
char: DjinnAndTonic ->Pyromancer with the serpent missles
That's just the nature of the style. It was that way in D2 with a necro too. Well, I guess you had a golem if things got too bad, but if you went skele spec, your golem was worthless and only bought you time to get out, farm some skeles somewhere else and come back.
I'm going straight for imps and holding off on the zerg buffs.
Power in numbers. I know in D2 you ended up relying on your mages to dps while your fighters were more there to hold mobs off your mages, and I'm guessing its similar here.
We shall see!

I foresee that being a problem. I'm not really sure what I can do about it, however.
Also, DjinnAndTonic is a fucking amazing name. Well done, sir.
In D2 if you TP'd or died or whatever, and came back, your clearing was still maintained. This doesn't seem to be the case here, or else I just suck.
Crashing at the bottom of a mine and relogging in Town REALLY sucks.

Count me the fuck in.
If anyone can spare an invite it would be greatly appreciated.
So far my strategy has been to run away from the boss and summon as many as I can, so I have to clean up the mobs supporting the boss before I can attack him. Then it's a game of chicken, summoning bloodlings and putting a buff on them. Once I have 3-4 and can actually attack the boss I do okay, but it's sketchy up until that part.

Yeah, I'm just worried about going up against bosses like Tinus (hard hitting boss with two hard hitting adds, and not much else) as I really need a good amount of corpses lying around for the build that I wanna take.
Also, what is your stat distribution like? Right now I'm putting most of my points into Wisdom.
I pumped Strength because I didn't know I was going to take the Red Hand tree past Bloodlings, so now I'm making it up with Wisdom. Strength has helped me out in situations where I can't rely on my minions, though.
pigbog - gremlin bloodletter
krandor - human gadgeteer
Nice, enjoy!
The only thing: How easy is it to gimp yourself? I mean, I don't want to end up with a character that can't even defend himself later on, but I don't really want to follow a build guide either...
Either way, take me off the list!
Basically, as far as I can tell, just slap all your points into skills - don't really bother diversifying. There's not a whole lot of uber options because outside of Crimsonates there is very little synergy between abilities, so you pretty much have free reign of what looks awesome. Try to stay in a tree, though.
I think that is something which differs from class to class. I know that at least for a Bloodletter, if you go with melee build, you should pick up Slicing Dervish, and the entire line of Furious Focus. Everything is pretty much preference based, from what I've seen.
If you are going for a summoning build, it's pretty obvious as to what you should be picking up. And really, you can't do much wrong there.
Thanks to whoever send it to me. I'll post my character name and class once I download the client and what have you.
I'm actually doing that with a Bloodletter at the moment, and using high-strength equipment to compensate. I then intend to make an absolute tank of a melee character, possibly with 2h polearms and use the best skills from all three trees. Piercing flurry is a possibility for bosses, and I'm sure there are other skills to pickup in Red Hand that could be useful.
Lots and lots of variation and possibilities, and the game will punish you severely for not picking the most overpowered skills.
I love passive bonuses like those.

Bloodletter, level 19.
I think have 113 base strength. In any case, it's over 150 with +strength from my gear.
My weapon requires 130 strength, and deals something like 44-121 damage. Plus 12 cold. Plus 10 strength. Plus 8 vitality. And it's one-handed. Fast attack speed. Yeah.
About half of the pieces of equipment I have give a % bonus to damage, ranging from 12% to 21%.
I only use Slicing Dervish, plus passive skills to increase attack rating and damage.
So far I put every level-up point into strength.
Passives + gear makes my attack rating good enough, although there's the occasional fumble.
Huge amounts of strength gets me really good armor, which makes enemies miss me a lot.
Enemies who ignore armor such as some archers and spellcasters tend to kill me fairly quickly, because I still have base vitality + gear.
My main strategy: I run into big groups of monsters, and cast slicing dervish and they all die. I use the regular attack against lone enemies or groups of one or two.
Since my slicing dervish attack only has a one second cooldown, it's even appropriate when spammed against heroes.
Conclusion: slicing dervish is nice, and put all your points into the same stat.
