hey just wnted to put this thread where it belonged, since i got shunned from the art works topic place. Just wanted this to be a thread where people could share their tattoo's (preferably from video games) for the world to see. I posted this in the other other, now locked thread, but i will show it again. This is my zelda tattoo... comments? views on gaming tattoos? Anyone have any other tat's to show?

You are going to regret that so hard.

Also you should probably think of a lie ahead of time when girls ask what your tattoo is of.

I have a triforce on my right forarm. Just the three triangles in black that I've had for a few years now.

I tell most people it's from a video game, but when I'm not in the mood, I'll just tell them it's symbolic of the balance between courage, wisdom and power.

I've yet to get any tattoos. I've come close quite a few times, but ended up wussing out...not because of the pain, of course, but because I realized I just can't guarantee that it's something I'd want there when I'm 75.

Though I'll go against what seems to be the common opinion and say that the tat in the OP actually looks pretty cool.

When I'm drunk I want the torment symbol (the blade with the hairy lady-serpent around it) on my left shoulder. When I'm sober I almost want it. So far I've been mostly sober.

    I suppose so.

Although really would many people react negatively to a small, monochrome, abstract tattoo like an all-black triforce?

    Do your ears hang low?
Can you toss 'em to and fro'?
Can you tie 'em in a knot?
Can you tie 'em in a bow?
Can you throw them o'er your shoulder,

With regards to covering up tattoos, a friend of mine has an amazingly intricate tattoo over his upper arm, right down to a couple inches past his elbow. Why does it stop there? Because that's about how far one would roll up their sleeves in a business environment.

The greatest gaming tattoo, or indeed any tattoo at all is :

I know you feel like you've been drinking a few kegs of
Styx wash, but you need to CENTER yourself. Among your
possessions is a JOURNAL that'll shed some light on the dark of
the matter. PHAROD can fill you in on the rest of the chant, if
he’s not in the dead-book already.
Don’t lose the journal or we'll be up the Styx again. And
whatever you do, DO NOT tell anyone WHO you are or WHAT
happens to you, or they'll put you on a quick pilgrimage to the
crematorium. Do what I tell you: READ the journal, then FIND
    Pharod.
    Don’t trust the skull.

The only tattoo's I have still wanted for about 5 years are the jedi knight symbol from Jedi Outcast on my left upper arm in black or the Spider-Man chest symbol on my chest with 1:1 ratio. It's just while I'm not a fatty but my chest isn't anything to give a hoot about at present time.
