    Haha, I'm not hiding.

Please, please tell me how Reagan is evil.

"Peace through strength". The only reason he entered negotiations to reduce proliferation was because he realised he couldn't strong-arm the Soviet Union into doing what he wanted them to. And on that note, the man's Presidency was pretty much centred on bigotry, be it idealogical bigotry or racist bigotry.

(Disclaimer: This poster is not American, so take his comments regarding American politics & politicians with a pinch of arsenic.)

If Reagan was that evil, why didn't Futurama make fun of him instead of Nixon? Or was it just that Reagan didn't have the right combination of head and voice?

It was probably that Reagan was still alive when Futurama was made.

Remind me of when I said he was the only person at fault. Oh, wait, I didn't. In fact the only thing I've said concerning the Soviet Union's role in all this is that Brezhnev was "an evil fucker".

Stalin was evil. Hitler was evil. Let me ask again since your skirted my question. How does Reagan maintaining a policy put in place before his presidency and then ending it (or beginning to) in an effort for peace make him evil?

Actually, he pretty much did strong arm the USSR into negotiating. When asked later, USSR officials and generals responded to a question saying that SDI was the main reason they went into negotiations. I mean, we all knew it couldn't work, but they were afraid of American technology, so they didn't risk it. He also totally fucked the USSR's economy by starting another arms race, helping it's fall even more.

The hardass approach totally fucking worked. Alongside knowing when to stop the hardass approach, which he did after meeting Gorbachev.

And frankly, I'm fine with being ideologically bigoted towards Communism. His 'racial bigotry' is questionable at best, especially if you're talking about Russians there.

I mean I can understand hating Reagan if you're a die hard liberal with pro-Union sentiment running through your veins thicker than blood or something, but Jesus Christ Church.

Then there shouldn't be any problem here.

Though I would like the record to show that, in my case, sentiment does not reflect belief.

Very good. You can get the un-cut version on Steam, or the standard version on Xbox Live. All you'll be missing with the edited version is a couple of videa game sex scenes and a naked lady getting out of the shower.

Nietzsche, friend of angsty teens, discovering reason, and worshiping it, like a mother goddess.
Lacking, all of the emotion that life can bring you but oh man oh man I am still typing in time with the beat, and I cannot stop. This is so fun. I can't sleep, what am I doing, tapping out the keys in a percussive beat?

Living, something that too many people don't do very often.

The idea of actually following Nietzsche's notions sickens me. It makes a good theme for fiction. Not a good philosophy.

I'll take humanist worship over reason worship, thank you.

Oh, yes, you are completely right. Sitar strings six strumming all over the place, with a bassa beat in the background, oh tip tap tip tap, top top top top de dop dop, do bop bop, oh. Wow, I think I have, lost, my viewpoint, of reality. I need to sleep, but this is, so fun, commas, too many, do I care, I think not. Cymbal. Crash crash. Trumpet, melody, up up, triad.

No, just one of those weird moments where you kind of disconnect and get with the universe?

alright guys. I have three choices of what to spend my money on after christmas (bigger paycheck and christmas money)... either
    a) upgrade my computer which is having problems,
    b) play poker with kevin smith on new years eve or
    c) get a little more than halfway to my $$ goal for a new tv for my room(possible my dad would help with this)

if I don't choose A, I might be able to take care of it within a month or two. B costs a lot for something that will obviously last less long, but it's really cool. C I've been planning to do for some time, but is the most unnecessary expense as we will have a nice TV downstairs that I'll be able to use if I want... but I still admittedly want the sweet TV in my room as well.

I suck at making decisions so I seek your help.
