I'm giving it one more night before I go to a doctor/emergency room. The pains only started today, so it still seems like it would be a bit premature to go rushing off considering I'm uninsured and all that.

You know, all that gender/toys thread has taught me is that toys have changed a lot since I was a kid. I think never having a television has colored the experience for me, as it all seems very dramatic and sudden-- this is the first time I have looked at children's toys in over a decade.
I really am turning twenty in ... nine days, at this point. I can't even say I'm a teenager anymore. All of my friends I've graduated with are halfway towards their four-year degrees. I try to talk to them over AIM sometimes, but it's only recently dawned on me that they're not snubbing me-- we've just grown apart. It's been a year and a half since I graduated, and they were moving forward while I was standing dead still.

Well, I'm an idiot. I just assembled an office chair at my parent's house and managed to get crucial piece backwards. The net result is that this chair can no longer ever be adjusted. Oddly, the chair will nt come apart so I can correct my mistake.

I met a guy over World of Warcraft but I won't let myself meet him because no matter how much he assures me that he is okay with it, I feel like I'm not good enough for him. He's straight! He shouldn't be interested in me. I won't be able to make him happy.
