And this is all utterly unrelated to Ico/SoTC/Last Guardian.

Honestly, I'm quite glad with 2011. I want these so much but I really don't have time for them right now.

Yeah, these are not Christmas blockbuster games. They'll get more attention coming out in the spring.

Except of course that The Last Guardian will be (supposedly) coming out during the Christmas blockbuster rush.....next year.

Yes. Apparently they've decided that the PAL release was the best one anyway, so that's the one everyone gets.

Didn't the PAL one also have unlockable subtitles for Yorda and the Queen's dialogue?

And the ability to have the second controller play as Yorda

I was really close to just importing the PAL version awhile back, actually. And I already own the US version.

Wait you can understand Yorda's dialogue? And someone else can control Yorda, so the game becomes co-op? Those are some pretty big differences.

Correct. And, again, you can find a lightsaber that grows super long when you're holding Yorda's hand.

Why would they make it easier? It was hard for a reason.

For Americans that actually think it was easy, they fixed the temple glitch in the PAL version. That'll be the one they use in the Collection.

I wish they had asked some good questions. I shouldn't expect that from the playstation blog, I guess.

I wish I could expect that from someone in the video game industry, though. I'd really like to know what that dude has to say about video games. I remember him saying he was disappointed that game journalists didn't comment on the numerous connections between ICO and Another World, and I kind of developed a man-crush on him.

Anybody know where that comment about ICO and Another World originated from? Maybe there's a really awesome video game magazine I haven't heard of, or something, that doesn't cost like 100 dollars a year.

Shadow of the Colossus did have a slight tie in to Ico, so I'm guessing they'll do the same with TLG.
