The more I think about it, why would Wolf be in the game, at all? It really just doesn't make sense.
Not that I'd really mind (the starfox characters aren't high on my list of smash characters), but is he particularly popular in Japan, or something?
It just doesn't seem like there's any reason to have him in there, at all, especially as the super-secret last unlockable character.
I'm going to predict that it's actually a megaton 3rd party character (megaman, or belmont), and the Wolf thing was just a cover, or a guess by a leaker who got all but the very last piece of info.
I still think a Virtual Boy level would be rockin.
And does anyone else think "Madness? THIS IS SMASH THREAD!" when they see the thread title?... Overused joke to be sure, but I can't help that it crossed my mind.
But that doesn't mean its another Star Fox character. It could be another F-zero character and still fit with the characters in columns deal.

Seriously Mewtwo is a Psychic type.
Lucario is a Steel/Fighting type. He wouldn't be doing floaty stuff or picking people up with his mind.
He might have energy attacks, but that's about the only thing they'd have in common.
