I miss you guys, y'know. All I can play online is WoW, and even now I find myself logging in just to talk to people. But it's not the same. Especially because I have to type.

The exception to this is that ventrilo's PTT sound comes through my speakers still, is there any way to fix this?
Just uncheck "Play key clicks" in the Setup window and it won't play the sounds at all.
But, I don't think you should be using the setup you're using. If people have to hear a ton of sound effects behind your speech, that can get extremely annoying--not as annoying as Ventrilo reverb, but still very much so.

Ever since having to switch to my eyetoy as a microphone, daily people ask what hte hell I'm watching. Most of the time it's noot annoying when you can hear noises from the background. most of the time it gives us more to talk about/make fun of you about.
Only when it's deafeningly loud is when people get annoyed (I've had to turn down my TV a lot since using this other mic).

Right click on the speaker-> Recording Devices
Right click Microphone -> Properties
Custom tab -> Turn Mic Boost on, make sure alt mic is selected if needed
Levels tab -> set to 100
