I apologize for the bitching... anyway...
I think a new Mod (or a few) would be a great idea. Just be sure to pick someone that is level headed and doesn’t ban or kick people just because they don't like them. They also gotta be easy on newbies, them guys need help some times.
I think Archonwarp or Sniperguy would be great admins.
They seem to be online quite a bit and are very level headed.
I'm up for helping if I can, I spend most of my time in the Dawn of War or BF2 channels though, since like mentioned above, the chat channels just don't have the same atmosphere they once had.

Yo yo yo check it. We need donations for the server fee for this month--three of them, at $5.50 a pop. (Whark's already made one, so we need three more).
We also still need donations for last month's server fee! Two of them! (Whark and greynin already donated for last month's fee. Huge props to both of them.)
So, that's five donations needed. I don't like being behind on the fundraising; it makes me worried that this might be the beginning of the end for our Ventrilo server. Send those $5.50 PayPal donations to dkirby@email.unc.edu and set my mind at ease!
Hi. I'm having issues with my router and port settings in some games.
I tried restetting these settings. Once I was done I tried getting back inot Vent. I get booted with the following message: "Duplicate IP Limit Reached"
How can I get past this? I'll donate the $5.50 if still needed.

We need more vent mods. I know that all of the mods have lives and stuff (Kirby with his radio show and Mai-Kero with his hawt secks,) but, we need to find some true, responsible people to assist with moderating.
The reason why I think this, is for around an hour, someone named TwoPercent went to every channel where people were and shouted furiously. Of course, we muted him, but it sucks when you have to alt tab (where then CS:S crashes for me, having to restart in gungame) and some people in other channels are probably raiding or grouping in areas where ALT-TABbing really isn't efficient.
I mean, its more of my two cents than a rant. I realize that the Battlestation is there exactly for this reason, but, if someone alt tabs, its easier to just mute the guy, than get everyone to switch channels.

I recommend going into a Game On channel and just say "private discussion, do not disturb" or something like that in your comment. If you go into a chat channel, that's basically saying "we're all bored and don't mind listening to people or yelling cox jokes lolz". Shouldn't be a problem, I heavily doubt 96 other people will happen to be on at the same time.
Archonwarp always hops into my vent channel blaring explicit rap music that offends my delicate sensibilities, and I have to quickly page archowarp to boot him from the server and save my virgin ears.
I don't know what you're talking about! I log on the vent server at least 2 times a week, and actually go into vent channels and talk at least once a month!

It should let you back in after you wait a while.
