It looks like NRG Servers' response to my email stating "somehow I didn't get the billing email for this month, could you resend it to me" was to shut the server down and send me a "billing past due" email a week and a half later.
Anyway, it should be taken care of. I'm not sure when the server will come back up but if it's not by tomorrow afternoon I'll hassle them again. Sorry for the downtime.

Ok quick question. My Vent is messed up in such a way that I can talk and hear the initial connection sound, and the little noise when I hit my talk button. However I cannot hear anything people say or the sounds when you switch channels. I've already tried a repair install, uninstalling and reinstalling, and restarting and full shutdown and starting back up.
So, I guess BF 2142 has been fucking up my mic volume when I play it. In related news, apologies to all of the people who were in the same channel as me last night.
I like cango better than urian, even though Urian will always have more money than Cango.
But Cango can take a joke.

We take this issue very seriously. Nobody deserves to feel uncomfortable on our server, especially not because someone is giving them a hard time about their gender, sexual orientation, religion, ethnic background or anything like that. [...]
The key is to keep things in moderation: if what you are saying is making somebody else uncomfortable, you should stop saying it.
Simply put, none of us has asked for our respective jokes to stop. Urian has. Therefore you should stop it. You know the rules on this. Quit pretending you don't. That's trolling.
The problem is exactly as PikaPuff said, people are taking things too far. I chat and play a lot of games with Urian, and I have a pretty good understanding of what I can and can not say to him as far poking fun, but some of you do not and have a tendency to cross the line. This is not highschool; vent is supposed to be a cool place for somewhat like-minded people to hang out. Stop being a dick.
