Indiana Jones 4: He Belongs In A Museum
Posts
i think i need to go rent the first three and watch 'em back to back sometime soon
I agree, it is less likely that this will be completely cocked up. I'm still shocked at how bad a job Lucas did with Star Wars.
I'm just saying that it is possible. Not that it's overwhelmingly likely, just that it's possible.
Original Star Wars had a lot of actors who weren't, like, big-name stars. But yes, Ford should know how to play the character.
oh it's certainly possible.
the thing is i don't want to dwell on the negative here. to me it's a new indiana jones movie and that in and of itself is just awesome.
because as much as i used to love star wars, indiana jones is my all-time favourite movie franchise.
I remember reading and Indy book and apparently he has Merlin looking after him or something. Which is why he has such impossible luck
Are... are you serious?
Also, the warehouse is in Roswell?
XBL: Torn Hoodie
@hoodiethirteen
you really should just buy them
the special edition DVD set is so awesome
yeah probably.
I'm going to ignore that because it's terrible and stupid.
it is indiana jones midichlorians.
Well, if you're gonna have a big government warehouse full of unspeakably powerful artifacts, I suppose Area 51 is the place to put it.
insert a few CGI characters
like, Bellach will be a 9 foot tall mutant space slug.
Short-round will be a Jawa and etc etc..
Or rather, I'm hoping, because I would buy those at the drop of a fedora.
Who cares?
(I don't.)
Thats George Lucas that does that shit.
This film is being directed by Steven Spielberg.
He doesn't do that dumb shit.
Having compared the DVD and Blu-ray editions of Fifth Element, I can say with certainty that there is a noticeable difference in quality.
And so, Indiana Jones on Blu-ray would be fucking awesome. Especially on my 47-inch widescreen 1080p television.
It would also rock for Lucas to re-release all the films in theaters, but for some unknown reason he has failed to do that, and so Blu-ray would be the next best option IMO.
The what?
Also, Im pretty excited about this movie guys. Gonna have to watch the trilogy tonight, tomorrow, and the next day.
Jordan of Elienor, Human Shaman
Books are never canon for any movie franchise ever.
oh i know i was just saying that if it had been canon, it would've been like midichlorians.
Chewie guest-stars as Bigfoot.
That was an awesome comic.
meta as fuck
Uh, you seem a little mixed-up here. Roswell is in New Mexico. Area 51 is in Nevada.
Spoiled for huge.
Oh yeah. My bad. Jesus, I feel silly now.
Oh ok, I heard about that but never got around to seein it. Did they change stuff?
Jordan of Elienor, Human Shaman
Sallah: ...a man named 'Bellosh'...
Indy: (laughs) "BELLOQ. Belloq..."
Not picking on you jwalk, just reminded me of that line :P
P.S. this movie better have Sallah in it...

Whenever I see Air Force One it just makes me think of Indiana Jones: The President: The Movie: They Hijacked my Damn Plane

Very minimal stuff. They included a small scene that was originally cut where Elliot gives ET a bath, and in that scene ET is CG. There might have been a couple other CG moments, I can't remember. They replaced the agents' guns with walkie-talkies for some reason.
So really trivial stuff that doesn't impact much of anything, but also kind of "why did they even bother changing it?" in a head-scratcher sort of way.
From what I recall, Spielberg said that the movie was supposed to be nonviolent, nontheatening. Do you think they would have really started shooting at a 8-year old and his pet alien?
