    Just finished. My impressions:

The game is just plain too short, too linear and too simplistic. There were so many ways they could've expanded the gameplay and made this a much better (or at least more involving) game. Something like a reputation system where you could go 'good or evil' or 'man of faith or man of science' at least, would've been fun. Maybe a few side-quests. More items to collect. More puzzle types. Some story branches. Etc, etc..

Anyway, while the story was linear, it was fairly interesting and definitely had that Lost feel. Graphics/music were decent. People here have already talked about the voice acting.

Basically, I came into this not expecting much and got even less than that. It had a few nice moments for fans, but as for the gameplay overall, I was pretty disappointed.

Glad they got Desmond's voice, but man...they totally fucked up his character model.

Doing the fuse boxes in the hatch. I suck at this. :\

Personally, I think the best LOST game would be made after the series is done. Once all the mythology is laid on the table, they can make a much more open game. Especially if they allowed the player to influence the story in directions not taken in the show (ie saving or killing a character, finding the hatch early, and so on).

So I have to say that I'm enjoying this game a lot more than I thought it'd be. Not a fantastic game, but enjoyable.

I'm wondering how many special features there are. Hopefully one of them will be an unlockable score.

I can't remember the last time a TV show license turned into a really good game anyway.

Buffy for the Xbox and its sequel Chaos Bleeds.

I remember playing and LOVING the buffy game.

The xfiles adventure game was pretty reasonable too.

And the hitchhiker's Guide text adventure is superb (technically based on a book/tv series/radio series).

Transformers was also awesome (on PS2) and a number of anime shows have made decent-ish games (The DBZ games on the Wii are pretty cool)

I can think of few other examples!

I beat this today and...meh. The ending was pretty cool and it had a few standout moments, but on the whole the gameplay was silly and it needed more clever puzzles. I didn't like being lead around to my objectives all the time, and the "navigate the jungle" bits were ridiculous. I liked the platforming sections though. The fuze puzzles drove me mad, but the logic puzzles were kind of a cool idea even though they were a little too easy.

The graphics are absolutely stunning, and the ending raises some intriguing questions, but I don't know if that's enough for me to hold on to the game...

    So, awhile ago then.

    :)

I actually have Chaos Bleeds, haven't played it yet though. I'll probably give it a try soon, since the wife and I are getting close to being at that part of the series.

Yeah, the DBZ Budokai Tenkaichi games are good.

So, I beat this in one day on a rental last week and iunno, it's okay. Easy 1K points though. I dug that you see the stations and stuff.

The worst indictment for this game, imo, is that they couldn't even get permission to use the "Lost intro" music/ambient sound that plays when the "Lost" is flying at you towards the screen. That tells me a lot right there. I know this game is supposed to be poor, but as a Lost fan I was hoping I could at least stomach this stuff. We'll see.
