I'm all kinds of level 7.

Also, two of my friends from reality are joining, so I'll post their names once I've got them.

Killed the dragon last night. Someone was attacking the seeker though, so I count us fortunate that we only lost one guy.

This is what happens in Valk.

I was the only one that died during the fight. The Dark and the White died afterwards from poison.

The White could have used Benediction.

Thought Id give you guys an update on progression. I finally finished up the final CoP mission and took some great pics. The game can get varied (once you get out of the normal treadmill parties)

Is that a windurstian ring at level 17? And an emperess band?

I am not going to fault for the neck gear, it has a Def rating comparable to a leather gorget. I don't recognise the ear ring.

Edit: Not to mention that they could have upgraded thier armor the previous level from scale to bone.

Further Edit: My Kingdom for a good dunes party!

And another thing: A Party without a powerleveler!

Wow solsovly, those are some awesome CoP screens. That really makes me want to progress in the CoP storyline more (currently stuck on 2-5 goddamn mammets). How tough was the boss, compared to other parts of CoP?

I swear to god that whole expansion was developed by masochists. Aht Urgahn is a total joke compared to the massive timesink that is promathia. :x Even Zilart missions aren't as hard as promyvions, well except for Divine Might.

Anyway here is a little more eye candy to keep people motivated :P

There is a chart somewhere that shows how the exp curve has been made significantly easier.

Where would one find that? I did a google and couldn't find a comparison. Just curious how much of a difference it really makes for grinding.

I think I deleted all my old characters anyway...but I haven't checked in a couple years.

Used to be, if you were a BLM or WHM you could go as early as 18-19, but I don't know if that holds anymore. But if things still are how they were, either way, you're better off waiting till 20.

The exp change only really takes effect after lvl 50. As you can see it's quite a bit easier, but it's still by no means a walk in the park. At lvl 71 my TNL is 32,000. Thankfully between the exp rings and awesome high level exp zones added in ToAU, getting 70-75 is actually feasible for non hardcore players.
