Tonight's loot: Worgen Claw Talisman, Zierhut's Lost Treads, Terestian's Wigglestaff, Skulker's Greaves, T4 helmet, Chestguard of the Conniver.

And I tanked Nightbane. At level 69. In mostly crap greens and blues.

Now to go ding 70.

I'm astounded you can zone in at 69.

Heh, guess when they took away the attunement they just didn't care that it'd open it up to lower level characters.

Edit, wait, Druid? Okay, that makes a little more sense. The crafted blues are around a 68 or 69 to equip for a few, I think, and they're some of the best tanking pieces to be found.

    Either way, good job. :^:

I really like the fluff aspect of attunements.

I'd like it if they could come up with some cool attunement questlines without turning them into massive cockblocks

Well, kinda-sorta playing on my druid alt that I guess is my main now.

But I doubt I'll set foot in 25-mans again unless I'm sorely needed, and I doubt that will happen seeing as the guild is deep into Hyjal now.

Glee: giggling over that reply to my Karazhan signup about taking me over the alt of some "loyal member".

I just don't care about his whining any longer. I took a break, he made a post about he "can't forgive me" for "abandoning my duty" or somesuch.

I was an officer. Me and the GM got horribly burned out at the same time and quit for a while. Que two months later, we log on on level 65ish alts just to quest a bit.

There's a flurry of activity in the centurion forum (that we no longer have access to since we're not officers any longer), where this guy wanted to change the signup and looting system to prevent us from ever setting foot in raids and generally being a bastion of bullheaded vindictiveness.

Eh, I don't care. I'm mostly amused at how Serious Business this is to him. I'll do Karazhan every now and then. Might possibly do ZA as well some time. That's the extent of my planned future raiding.

On the previous version of this post, I mentioned that I was amused to discover none of the raid bosses for WotLK were even designed yet. Someone replied that they had time.

Exactly. If anything proves we're *months* from the expansion, this is it. I don't see it out anytime before December myself, January more likely.

If someone in our guild suggested anything remotely close to this, because you were coming back after a burnout break, he would be laughed out of the guild. The very notion that they are even mildly entertaining his ideas is very disturbing.

Heh, no. Sure, we let him rant, but noone takes his suggestions seriously. He's pretty much suggesting remaking signup/loot rules to conform with his list of People He Likes.

For him there are three categories of people: people he doesn't know, people he likes and people he hates.

Anyone he likes will sooner or later end up doing something he doesn't approve of, and then they'll never get off his shitlist.

So I just smile and nod and never take him seriously.

Oh, it's very awesome. Apart from this guy.

    Sounds like my last guild.

He was a complete cockmongler. He flirted with my friend ALL the time. Openly. In Guild Chat.

"But Muffin Man! That's just really shitty behavior for ANYONE, but I don't see why..."
He was married. His wife was in the guild. Granted she wasn't one of those "LOL WIFE OF RAID LEADER" types. She actually pulled her weight as both a healer AND a mage. And she was quite nice. She admitted to feeling guilty about being the "go-to Mage", and it was generally agreed I was the "Honorary Mage Class Leader" (we didn't use Class Leads, but I ended up getting asked about it a lot).

Anyway, this guy was a tremendous prick. He cock-blocked a great friend of mine and an amazing tank (Who has gone from a Hunter to a Warrior and now to his Paladin: he LOVES tanking) Warrior to Warrior all the time, as well as anyone else he didn't like.

One day, 2 people (who used to be awesome until one of them gained her OWN tremendous bitch-streak...but that's another story) got sick of his shit (Dramaqueens husband was ALSO a warrior...surprise surprise) and called him out. The guild split almost right down the middle. I was one of the few who didn't care enough either way, as were two IRL friends. Finally, all 4 (Douchebag, DBs wife, and 2 Drama-mongers) left, taking huge chunks of the guild with them and leaving us from getting the balls to attempt SSC to barely scraping out a Kara run. Eventually, the last few members left and scattered to the wind...

Of course, conveniently enough, the wind happened to be blowing directly at a great guild that now has a huge portion of the awesome people, plus some of their own, and none of the shitheads that started drama. AND we're on Leotheras (not exactly HEY GUYS DOWNED ILLIDAN AGAIN LOL but it's a start!) AND we've got one-night clears of Kara (And we're shooting for 3-4 hour clears). And I'm their designated 10-man DE'er most nights. Mostly because the Guild Leader is good friends with on of my closest friends, and a lot of the people from my old guild remember and trust me a great deal.

TL DR: Hate: My old guilds raid leader douchebag.
Liked: His wife, she was cool.
    Love: My new guild.

And the icing on the cake of drama? My last Kara run with that guild was the second half: just after Curator up to Prince. My friends were all sitting out as they hated him. I asked if they minded if I went and, being the good people they were, told me that it was my choice to go. I explained that, unlike with them, this was a complete loot-whore trip. I was not here to be with friends. I wanted GEAR. I wanted LOOT. I wanted BADGES. I told them quite blatantly "with you guys, it's for fun. This time, I just want my fucking Mindblade."

Sure enough, Mindblade drops. A Shadow Priest rolls for it and so do I. Just as I roll, I see him say "Wait, nevermind, ignore that" and I get my Mindblade.

I open a portal and get the fuck outta dodge.

Tonight was a terrible night for PUGs for me. Gruuls, HMGT, and BM were all terrible and didn't finish. Luckily in the BM case (where I out dpsed two of the members...as a resto druid healing everyone) I got some rep.

Also, I've tanked Netherspite as a resto druid in bear form when one of the tanks were dumb and forgot to strafe in and out of the beam and got to -15% max health or whatever and got oneshot. I doubt I could have done it for a full phase though.

I remember the worst person {the tank's girlfreind} in that train wreck of a guild got a beta invite. They would come back and tell everyone in basicly a tease about what outland was like.

I hated the fact that I sat at home one of the few times I felt good enough not to take my meds or be on the resporator, they could not sell the game till 7am. So I sat and wasted the time staring at the train of people going to the portal and pvping in Av. I would have walked to a business but it did not help it was -20c outside

I do hope it comes out during the summer because there is not much they do to drag it out till xmas
