Anyway, I think a big reason why I couldn't really get into most of the FF games is becasue I'm really not fond of overly flashy and flamboyant characters and presentations, save for when they're done exceptionally well.
This is the same reason I can't stand anime like G Gundam and Gurren Lagann.
I got all the celestial weapons except Wakka's because fuck blitzball is so dumb
the chocobo race almost caused me to smash a controller though
and by almost I mean it still worked after I put it back together

Wakka's was easy. Once you recruit Brother and get Tidus the Jecht Shot II, it's cake. I never use anyone else. Of course, once you get the lead, just get brother the ball and have him wait behind your own goal, because the enemy just goes back to their original positions and swim in circles. I just did this to kill time, as it was easy as fuck to score as many goals as I had time for.

I really, really, liked Tactics Advanced, though.
It was so boring and the only jrpg cliche that didn't get ticked off in the game was that there were no sewer levels.
