Exactly how mature is it? A large 'M' doesn't really tell you anything. Is it just 'M' for Bloody cartoon violance and Language, or something More. I command someone to answer me!!

You commit hobocide as someone else already started to say and kill all the hobos when asked, also you kill a lot of mimes, clowns, and barber shop quartet groups. You can do overkill attacks and have people get their head punched off, etc... and explode in blood.
A fairly large amount of curse words are used, but not overused.
It's the very same maturity level as the comic, if it's something gabe and tycho would be willing to put in a comic, it's liable to be put in the game.

The blood and gore includes decapitations that leave the bodies behind, slumped in pools of their own blood, which persist for a while (some seem to just be there forever). Walking through blood makes squishing sounds, and walking over corpses makes other noises.
The language is what you'd expect.
Hobocide has been discussed already. There's also worse stuff that goes on with the hobos including
taking "hobo meat" to make soup with for other hobos
a dead guy in a bathtub in a room covered with arcane symbols written in blood
etc.
The most mature thing about it is probably some of the attacks. The FF do pretty predictible things, including molesting oranges, spraying orange juice at you, trying to molest you, etc. The clowns have some kind of crotch gnawing attack.
My kids won't be playing it or watching me play it for several years, primarily due to the last (language isn't an issue to me but these are not things I want them picking up to try when playing with their friends.)

I wouldn't want my kid making "Hobo Soup" either, as much as you might think, from my screen name, that I am some sort of soup fetishist.
plenty of F-bombs. blood.
the clowns flick you off, the robot's "thrust" their waists, and there are drunk hobos
now, ask yourself, is that mature enough for you?

Are you replying to me or to the thread's OP? I don't complain about the rating, just about the content blurb. It's obviously a game for adults, but the language in it most certainly isn't "bad", fucks or no.

Hobocide, encounters with Dark Gods, violent altercations with vicious mimes, gore, blood, more gore, drug use, ill-kempt inn-keepers, slavery, dismemberment, improper use of household tools, urine, steampunkery, barbershop quartet abuse, cannibalism, and excessive use of the word "fuck" and its derivatives.
"When the player uses the 'Fruit' item when a robot character is in the play area, a robot is selected and will enter coitus with said fruit, ignoring the player for a short time, until the act is completed, or until the player interacts with the robot. The robot character may thrust frantically, or slowly and tenderly. While he is engaging in this act, robot characters in the vicinity will look on with longing, and may make a crude comment.
No, this is not a joke."
Man, this post has lead to the phrase 'citrus coitus' being lodged in my mind. That's intensely satisfying.

Lots of mature language, a fair bit of gore.
But I mean, it' about on par with the strip. It's not really appropriate for anyone under teenage years or so.
There is a lot of blood, sexual innuendo, and use of the word "fucker," though.
I would say it like this, if you let someone read the comic and/or these forums, they are more then ready to play the game.
In a childish way.
But not for children.
A fairly large amount of curse words are used, but not overused.
But with a tophat. That makes everything better.
This.
Actually like 4 rib cages came out.
First thing that happened with me too.

Hope this helps.

Lol!
I've made the same observation. Does that mean it's a parody of video game violence? Does that mean it is for critics, too?
Memories of old school mortal combat fatalities spring forward.
*Ahh the memories*
My name is antichris, and I approve this message.
Animated violence
Bad language
"Bad langugae" has to be the less accurate description of the game that has been or will be done of the game ever.
"Bad language". Heh. Funny.

Online interactions not rated. Fucker.
Pics or it didn't happen.

You're not far off! But sorry I can't post photos.
"How Mature?"
So mature.
Joel, if you're in Vancouver we should hang out some time. (creepy web moment)
That is to say, it's for grown ups who have juvenile senses of humor.

Yes, I hear she got it from you.
While all you got from my mom was chlamydia.

Yeah, we used to keep that sort of thing up all the way from school to home, back in the day. To our credit, that not once ended up in a fistfight.
That's the Penny Arcade demographic, I guess.
