I like that fact that a lot of Saul's poems from The Dead Emcee Scrolls are the basis for the majority of the Niggy Tardust album. It was rad to go back and reread that book with some of the beats in mind, sort of put me in his head as far as how he crafts his poetry.
Also, Anjin, you remember on MTV when they video taped ODB cashing his wellfare check? Cuh-ray-zee!

Yes, when he wrote The Dead Emcee Scrolls I am sure he had Trent Reznor's production in mind.
Also, my favorite poem in that book is Sunday Bloody Sunday.

hilarious
oh man you really drove home the fact you hate trent reznor there
Sorry to bump the thread, but I was just listening to Untitled again and it is pretty great. My favorite chorus is definitely watch what you watchin' / fox keeps feedin' us toxins / stop sleepin' / start thinkin' / outside of the box an' / unplug from The Matrix doctrine / but watch what you say, Fox 5 is watchin'.
I legitimately have not heard a funnier song in a long time.
Hahahaha, this is one of the first bands I ever listened to, back when I was in 6th grade. I love the whole CD this song is off of. On their EP they covered "Today Was A Good Day" but it was edited a bit of course. Not too many people know about that song, I like it better than Gangsta Gangsta.

Oh man dude this is sooo incredible. I remember watching the Spike Jonze DVD with that short documentary on it and I loved it. What a great song.
