Nothing gives quite the same rush as going on a killing spree as a scout.
Whenever I do it all I can think is "I'll never be this lucky again".

Watch this it helped me A LOT during October-November of release.

Also, don't disguise while cloaked unless YOU NEED TO.

There will be smoke covering your body while invisible, so enemies will see you running by as a cloud of smoke.

Not true. I do it all the time. The smoke only appears if you disguise before cloaking or before you're fully cloaked.

Uh, engineer is the best class period.
if by best you mean "easiest class to be really, really obnoxious as" then yes, yes they are.

Engineers are easily bested with a little teamwork and/or rockets/stickies.
I have no problems with engineers when there's a lot of people on the server. They have their role.
But when it's like, 3v3 and the server's filling up, and there's an engineer whose camping our spawn with a turret while we're trying to melee each other? I want to strangle them. I want to strangle them dead.
@tofu: yeah, except sentries are like, 5 billion times more annoying.

    I don't really like playing 3v3 regardless.

There was one time I found an empty server and I was exploring the maps, practicing jumps and sentry placements. Some other guy joined and kept killing me even though I explained I wasn't there to actually play.

My favourite spy detection trick is when my dot flickers in size for a split second.

On pl_heights I saw this happen as I was sniping from the tunnel. So I headshot the enemy sniper, did a smart 180 and split open the face of the spy with my kukri. Good times.

Some spies are just terrifying though. Origami is still the one spy who I can know the exact location of as well as what he's planning and he'll still kill me.

    TF2_Concept___Sniper_by_jpowersdesign.jpg

    To revisit this...

"The concept for the Sniper is a tall, lanky sharpshooter WWI veteran from New Zealand. The Kiwi bird acts as an alert system for when an enemy is close proximity, and doubles as a melee weapon."

    Primary weapon: Sniper Rifle
    Secondary weapon: Pistol
    Melee weapon: Kiwi bird

Yeah, I'm sorry, nothing is more awesome than using a fuggin kiwi bird as a melee weapon. Even if it would constantly fpil my spying plans, I would still love it.

Man, doing well as a spy feels so much more rewarding than doing well as any other class. Sapping a sentry nest, backstabbing the engie that tries to save it, shooting a pyro dead with the revolver, and making it safely back to base feels so damn awesome.
