I want a next-gen Vampire: The Requiem game.

Also I guess this thread can be about the other Vampire: The Masquerade games too or whatever. Or White Wolf as a company or... GODDAMNIT SOMEONE MAKE THIS GAME.

Seriously though, Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines was an excellent game. It had some problems, given the studio's bankruptcy and all, but the game was solid. I'm telling you, give this license to capable hands and it could be fucking awesome.

Goddamn all of you.
edit: Yes, Bioware could do a good Vampire game. But, the combat and stuff was such an important part of Bloodlines... Granted, they've got Jade Empire and Mass Effect under their belt and stuff, but I dunno.
Both Vampire games were pretty fun. Bloodlines was a lot more fleshed out, but I loved having the chance to play Christof from the Dark Ages setting to the Modern Nights setting. I really wished Bloodlines had done that.

Same here. Going from Medieval times to modern times really helped give you that powerful Vampire feeling. Bloodlines was really when it comes down to it a better game but lacked a lot of the Vampire feeling that Masquerade had.

I liked the separate endings for Redemption, and I didn't like that playing as a different clan in Bloodlines basically meant jack all. Bloodlines was definitely more playable though.

Oh, Metzger, you should change the title of the thread. Vampire: The Masquerade is a much better ruleset that they never should have gotten rid of.
I'm throwing my wholly uninformed opinion behind this statement. Bloodlines is the only exposure to the WoD property I've ever had, but most of the changes I've read about since then don't seem very good.
The old rules may have been more fun to read about, but actually playing with the new ones is so much more smooth and fun. Also nothing stops you from playing the old ruleset ofcourse

You have to click nearby the title on the main thread page. It should give you a field to edit it with.
