Just going on previews I need this game. Now that I hear there is a demo, I need to try that first as I'm at about 150 ms points.

Yep, I just bought it this morning after I got to the first destination in the demo. Heh, the conversation options alone were awesome. I exhausted every single option of telling the witch about how awesome I was before I continued with the regular dialog. That was hilarious.

About the only problem I seem to see coming is how each of my two hand weapons is a seperate button? WTF is with that? Maybe I was just looking at it wrong and it was before 6am, but that seems like a wonky decision. Otherwise it was pretty awesome using the Hammer of Justice on some baddies.

Yep. Should've made PA Adventures 3 instead.

    Thanks for the insightful analysis.

Anyway, I picked this game up last night after playing the demo and ended up playing it for about 2 hours longer than I should have and now I'm work about to fall asleep at my desk.

There is actually a combo system that involves switching weapons with each hit. So basically you start cycling through the face buttons instead of just pounding on one.

Well, I will counter that with the argument that I had virtually no idea or expectations about this game whatsoever, and ended up downloading the demo on a whim, playing for 10 minutes in the demo and immediately buying it, playing it for about 4 hours last night, 2 hours later than I should have.

I assumed that a weapon of undeath would do damage to undead creatures but ghosts resist it every time. Any advice? Is my logic flawed in the face of undeath or am I simply not a high enough level (I think they're seven and I'm five)?

Really enjoying the game. Special mention to the music on the menu screen, which is awesome.

I havent finished this game yet, but it already is a sure bet among my top 3 of all times in arcade games, where the other 2 is Shadow Complex and Toy Soldiers.

I have no idea what game those reviewers were playing, because this one is great.

They call it "girlfriend coop", meaning like how super mario galaxy had coop. The second player does a few halfassed things to help the first player.

You get a weapon from a quest that can kill ghosts (I think I got it at level 14-15, and you are not supposed to get it early) but you should get back to those level 7 ghosts after you get that weapon since the ghosts in the "starter zone" dropped a gold key each.

    Weapon and quest info
Soul Killer Sword, you get it for doing quests for the gravekeeper dude in Haunted Forest.

This game also has avatar awards, I got a dragon and a unicorn poop T-shirt. (Also a few gamerpictures so far.)

I must have missed that. I kept searching for something to use the anvil's on, but wells never got the interaction highlight. Is it a specific well somewhere?

I also feel like I'm missing something since most NPC and objects in the world have a Use (A) option and a Use With (Y) option. A few times when I would have expected to use Y to combine two things, the game did it automatically with A. And every time I tried combining random stuff hoping for a joke, he just said "I can't do that."
Also, was there another way to color the white horns? The tutorial message had a picture of a cherry combining with the horn, but I only ever found cherry pits. And my repeated attempts to plant them places failed.

Plus, I've got runes that mention combining an Undeath Melee Weapon with various other things. I'm level 19 now, and I've got a Fire Axe, Frost Hammer, and Poison Club, but have never seen a melee Undeath anything, and the merchants don't sell them. I even tried
the Soul Killer Sword, but that specifically does Nature damage, and didn't work anyway.

I'm at level 17, and just realized something to do with the first bit.
Both the well and the cherry trees can be interacted with. Trying to use the well makes the NPC mention that he has to get the bucket back up now. Trying to use the trees makes the NPC tell you to get away from there.

Anvil + Well = long enough distraction to get cherries from the trees?

If that's the case, I feel a facepalm coming on.

    As for the second thing,
I've picked up a Sword of Undeath very early on. No sign of any upgrades yet.

As to the first part, yes it is that simple.
Not only that, but if you interact with the well, he says "Get away from there! Durned thing takes forever to reel back up. Especially if the goblins drop an anvil down there."

The runes I liked most were the one that did frost damage (Mega Cleaver and Ice melee) where it rained down with blue frost weapons from the sky, and my favourite was the fire damage one (Mega Spinning Sword + Fire Axe level 3) which made Deathspank a swirling inferno who also shot fire weapons at enemies like arrows.

The stuff just before the ending seemed a "bit" to indicate DLC...

Edit: About the anvil in the well thing, yes its just a way to save the money you otherwise would pay the Ex-orphan vendor for her red paint bucket, by coloring the horns with the cherries instead.

Got all achievements and killed everything, I want more !

Well, that'll be why I didn't realize that sooner.
He didn't say the bit about goblins dropping anvils on my save. Possibly because I stopped waiting after the first bit, and went off to dispense more justice.

Any chance you remember where? I'm betting it was probably in a gold treasure chest I forgot to go back for once I got a key.

I had so much money that I just bought it, too. And since I had the red horns turned in long before I got to Bobblewood, nothing at his farm was interactive.

If it was a gold treasure chest, it would be in one of the early ones, around the Greem area. I'm thinking it's more likely a random drop from that area, though.

I completed the game to 100%, level 20 with 200/200 achievements in about 8 solid hours.

Super fun and entertaining, definitely room for a more elaborate sequel. With the sweet art design and the cool graphic effects (the way the terrain moved always tripped me out) and the decent variety of enemies and areas, it was a great way to spend $15. Highly recommend.

You need to use them when your Justice Meter (the purple skull-thing in the middle of your health) is full, then use whatever combination of weapons it says at the same time. e.g. Melee fire weapon + Cleaver = 360° fire attack.

I got kind of frustrated at this last night. I went into a demon mine with guys a couple levels above me (orange numbers) every so often with regular green number guys. Apparently I'm not figuring out how to mitigate damage or something correctly. The green guys can hit me down to half pretty easy and the orange guys nearly kill me (this I figured, but hte green ones?) anyway, I get to the 2nd outhouse in the dungeon, but I"m nearly out of food, so try to go back, but now guys are respawning and my death spawns me at the 2nd outhouse in the dungeon and I can't get out.

Unless I'm missing something about teleporting out of the dungeon, I'm stuck and pretty frustrated.

Not quite true; I had some of the larger Pips do 6 damage whilst blocking. I think it just drops it to 1% of what it would normally be. Perfect blocks are automatically 0 damage, plus a full Justice Meter recharge.

Well, whatever, the point is it's significantly reduced. I've only ever seen 1 though. And I still take 1 even on perfect blocks.
