Hi PAX'ers,

It was nice to see Wil Wheaton again this year, and he had a lot of good things to say.

Next year though, in addition to Wesley being there, I'd really like to have Jean-Luc Picard in attendence! What kind of games does he play? Does he play games? Does he just hang out in fancy places with his uniform rolling around in all his acting glory?

I would mean to turn PAX into another Star Trek convention, but who's gonna put Wil Wheaton back in his place when he gets out of control again?

Picard for PAX! Make it so.

Patrick Stewart's a nerd though too, or at least a comic book geek. He's said that if they ever made a Transmetropolitan movie, he'd kill to play Spider.

Very true. Close your eyes when Wil speaks though...what do you hear? I hear Wesley....it must be balanced! It is like Chaos with no Order!

Picard/Professor X is a leader of geeks and gamers. I would argue that a good percentage our moral sensibility and good nature came not from our dysfunctional parents, but from Picard. I believe he should attend PAX as a representative of our underlying shread of dignity and noblity...as followers of the Picard.

I think getting Picard would be difficult (him being fictional and all) unless you wanted a cosplay, in which it shouldn't be too hard. Just goto the BIA:HH booth and get your head shaved and get a costume and a fake british accent.

Now Patrick Stewart on the other hand... I'm pretty sure he's enjoying doing theater and whatnot.
