    It could be worse.

Instead of cats, it could be yappy Jack Russels.

If that was the case I would never visit.

    Cats are awesome.

Terriers are footballs waiting to be punted.

Anyways, I have to try to get myself to take a bus instead of drive in the morning. Later kiddies.

So, I just saw the music video for The Sign by Ace of Base, and I realized that I had always pictured the band as black, based on nothing more than I thought their name was "Ace of Bass." They're Swedish, they don't sound black at all, but I hadn't really thought about it.

    Totally 'cism.

The Western Schism or Papal Schism (also known as the Great Schism of Western Christianity) was a split within the Roman Catholic Church from 1378 to 1417. By its end, three men simultaneously claimed to be the true pope.

Funny story (well, not really funny). Back in January of February I was craving Mexican food at 3 am. I'd just woken up and I was drowsy and didn't take a cell phone or any of that. Just slipped on some boots and jeans and an old hoodie and shoved a CC in my hip pocket. I'm waddling along, semi-conscious and oblivious, when a guy punches me in the head. Long story short, we fight, I beat the piss out of him.

Anyway in recounting this to hundreds of people (family, IRL friends, people on the net wondering why I'd been gone for a little while) just about 90% (maybe more) figured without me making any suggestions that the guy was black, but he wasn't.

The world is just one big ball of cisms, Than. One big ball.

Seriously. At 15 I couldn't grow facial hair, really (shit I pretty much still can't) and I looked five years old. I mean, 5'10"... but five years old.

    I think I still pull off a good 15.

It's on hold. I'm not going to start aging until I've actually gotten to live out the intervening years I lost. :P

Man, I love when I go back and read stuff I've already read, and I'm reminded of just how good they are.

First Watchmen, then Sandman, now Night Watch.

Fourth book coming out in October, can't wait.

It is still sitting on my shelf with a book mark around the 100 page area.
