    dammit I was so hopeful for Max Payne

    from the beginning even, when I bought it I was like "wow this is gonna be a great movie!"

    and here we fucking are

    I just reinstalled MP2 and played through the first act out of spite

    I am so with you on the replaying of the games.

    Can't wait to do it on full graphics with my new rig when it's fixed.

    So, I just saw this movie tonight (I haven't had the chance to before this weekend), and I have to say, this movie seems to be a perfect example of absurdism. Like, the last line was as if to say, "Don't get it yet? Let's spell it out for you."

    I've also noticed No Country For Old Men is about absurdism/nihilism as well.

    There is one conclusion;
    The Coen brothers hate God.
    Anyone care to comment on the philosophy behind the Coen brothers movies?

    nihilism? i don't see where you get that... all the characters believe in something...

    i mean, say what you like about the tenets of National Socialism, Dude, at least it's an ethos.

    My mom met Jeff Bridges on an airplane.

    He gave her his sunglasses and told her to sell them as the ones he wore in The Big Lebowski, even though they weren't.

    No Country for Old Men was tolerable because of that Aztec guy but even that ended really weirdly.

    But this movie had so many annoying characters. And the ending was just....like what?

    Gone Baby Gone was terribly written and had an equally terrible ending with a title based on the worst line in the film

    If you didn't catch it, you can just talk about the first Hellboy if you want.
