I guess "one of Captain America's deadliest foes" really is Batroc Ze Lepair.

And hey, another future where Iron Man is a fascist.

I'm excited about this, but when the hell do Brubaker and Philips have time to do this and Criminal?

From the creators of Criminal and Sleeper comes the most insane and evil super-villain comic you’ve ever read!
What if you were an ex-super villain hiding out in Witness Protection... but all you could think about were the days when the rules didn’t apply to you? Could you stand the toil of an average life after years of leaving destruction in your wake? And what if you couldn’t stand it? What would you do then?
INCOGNITO – a twisted mash-up of noir and super-heroics – by best-selling creators Ed Brubaker (The Death of Captain America) and Sean Phillips(Marvel Zombies) with Val Staples on colors.
And continuing Criminal’s single issue tradition, each issue of Incognito has more pages of story content, as well as articles on pulp and noir and behind the scenes looks!

What makes you say that? And the Invincible Iron Man solicit worries me very much.

Because the previous solicit talking about Bucky facing one of Cap's deadliest foes and this solicit, which is for the next issue in the same storyline confirms that he is fighting Batroc.

Also Batroc was on the cover image shown with the previous solicit.

I'm a little bummed that the Doom thing is a What If, but I'll definitely pick up the trade. There was also a What If... House of M in the X-solicts. According to wiki there is a set of five for various Marvel events plus a special "new" fantastic four one set during the Infinity Gauntlet.

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say it means that they don't :(

Brubaker mentioned on Jinxworld that there'll be more official information about this today (Tuesday). I'm guessing that the two books will alternate on a bi-monthly basis (for Phillips), but that this is why Bru is leaving UNCANNY. This book should be awesome, and will probably help to keep CRIMINAL afloat (you just know that the movie rights are going to be snatched up, and superhero related stuff always sells better, y'know?).

Anyhow, I can almost guarantee that CRIMINAL is not going to be cancelled.
Also, look for an interview with me and the official press release about this project tomorrow. And no, Criminal isn't ending.

Wait until tomorrow. You're all going to shit.
And hey, I really appreciate that none of you are freaking out about this. All answers tomorrow, and some cool art and comics.

    IMMORTAL IRON FIST #21
    Written by DUANE SWIERCZYNSKI
    Pencils by TRAVEL FOREMAN
    Cover by JUAN DOE
Danny Rand was not the first Immortal Iron Fist...and he won’t be the last! The year – 3099. The place – a distant planet first colonized a millennium ago by the People’s Republic of China. Now, a humanity oppressed by a totalitarian technological tyrant has just one hope for salvation – the kung-fu freedom-fighting of the Immortal Iron Fist! But his coming is nothing more than a prophecy and a silent prayer...and even if the Iron Fist does arrive, he must first defeat the most powerful weapon the evil robot empire has...Robo Fat-Cobra! Hot off the heels of Duane Swierczynski and Travel Foreman’s rip-roaring “MORTAL IRON FIST” arc comes an all-new look at the future legacy of the Immortal Iron Fist...with a jaw-dropping cover by Juan Doe

this could be totally awesome or really terrible

also, chaykin is writing a mini about one of the replacement caps--
CAPTAIN AMERICA: THEATER OF WAR: AMERICA FIRST!
    Written by HOWARD CHAYKIN
Art & Cover by HOWARD CHAYKIN
In this second installment of a series exploring the storied history of America's greatest champion, Howard Chaykin pulls back the Iron Curtain on one of Captain America's wiliest nemeses -- Soviet Russia and her never-ending parade of spies, saboteurs, fifth columnists...so many we had to make this story double-sized! Before his role in “The Death of Captain America,” no one was more patriotic than the Cap of the Fifties, even if he does have Steve Rogers’ shoes to fill. Unfortunately, Nick Fury, a newly minted operative of the CIA, isn't about to let him off the hook that easily. But Cap and Fury better start working together, or they'll find themselves buried in Reds! PLUS: a bonus reprinting of a classic Cap tale from the fabulous fifties!
    64 PGS./One-Shot/Rated A ...$4.99

    he's drawing it too...
