I think if your own actions force you to give pause and ask "am I being too X?" Chances are that you are. Self awareness is a good thing, after all. Besides, heart has already said before that he's clingy, so it seems kind of redundant to ask aloud.

As seen by my statements earlier and everyone's reaction to them, it is uncommon for people to accept clingy

clingy in anything long distance is especially bad, since it just makes the distance issue worse
not being together all the time is actually very manageable if you're both independent people. It still probably isn't ideal for either, but it's not as much of a sticking point and neither party tends to dwell on it which allows the relationship to thrive despite the geographical gap

nnnnope. if you question your own actions, you're just being self-critical. asking the question doesn't necessarily mean that the answer is 'yes', and assuming so is likely to be more destructive than constructive

And , yes, I do like to be clingy to her as well, as I am clingy by nature, but she tops me and so I have an enjoyable relationship.
