It's really retarded that anyone would start rumours of a Captain America cameo over the apperaance of his shield.

I mean, we see that shield in Iron Man, but nobody really talks about it because it wasn't a mysterious deleted scene.

uh it's not so much a rumor when the director of the movie says they had a cameo shot but took it out of the theatrical release, and later says it'll be on the dvd, and it's also not ridiculous considering how important the super soldier serum was to the plot of the movie in question

I kept wondering if the reason Blonsky went crazy was because he didn't also get the Vita-Ray treatment to stabilize the serum, but I doubt that it was something the filmmakers even intended

If he's actually in it and it's not just cap's shield sitting on some blue ice (picture is pretty blurry, hard to say) then yes, he does have an actual cameo.

But the director was quoted as saying Bruce meets up with Captain America.

Spotting a frozen body is kind of stretching the definition of 'meeting up'.

But whatever. If he's actually in it and it's not just cap's shield sitting on some blue ice (picture is pretty blurry, hard to say) then the director didn't technically lie. Whatever.

did you really think he was going to go to the arctic and be all "hey cap what's up, oh nothin' much, just tryin' to kill myself, you?"

this is pretty much all that anyone expected a cap cameo in a hulk movie to be

also I'm not entirely clear how anyone can look at that picture and go "yep, probably a rock, don't know what you fags are talking about with this captain america bullshit"

It's more like "That blue blur is kind of in the shape of a person."

It's probably Cap, but it's a pretty shitty picture.

Already mentioned the shield, which was also in Iron Man. That's obviously his shield in the photo.

I'm just saying the blue blur is probably him, but it might well just be some crap meant to look like him to get people talking.

It seems to be the only available picture on the internet, and Marvel isn't above viral marketing.

It wasn’t a coincidence that Norman Osborn collected the data Deadpool was sending out. Osborn had been watching and waiting for the chance to make such a grab. “That’s really Osborn’s strength. He’s the guy waiting in the shadows looking to scoop up all of these bits,” Way stated. “And this is something that plays out in ‘Secret Invasion.’ Bendis has plans for him. He’s been kind of waiting in the wings, taking his shots and gathering info. This is one of those outside maneuvers that’s going to pay dividends later for him.”

Osborn’s interception might prove valuable for him, but stealing from Deadpool means he’ll have to contend with reprisals from someone just as dangerous and perhaps even crazier than he is. Way's plans for “Deadpool” call for the Osborn plot thread to be picked up very soon. “This is a story point that’s going to reverberate in the ‘Deadpool’ book for at least a year’s worth of stories, because Deadpool having successfully saved the world isn’t going to sit back passively and have nobody know about it,” the writer confirmed. “It’s like he ran the ball up to the goal line and then the quarterback ran up stole the ball and crossed into the end zone. That’s bullshit! This is Deadpool’s time and it’s been snatched from him. So he’s going to endeavor to get back into the spotlight.”

However, before Deadpool can confront Norman Osborn, he’s got to look after some more immediate problems, like money. Enter “Horror Business,” a two-part story arc in “Deadpool” #4-5. “Having done this job for Nick Fury that went bust at the 11th hour, Deadpool of course did not get paid. This is strike two for him. The job he took from S.H.I.E.L.D. to kill Wolverine [in the recent ‘Wolverine: Origins’ arc ‘The Deep End’] also went bust, and really wasn’t a job at all,” Way explained. “That huge payout never happened and Fury’s not going to pay him for not delivering, so Deadpool is broke. He can’t afford ammunition. All he’s got to his name is a stack of Semtex explosives, which he actually uses to make a chair, so he at least can have someplace to sit.”

Ya know, I need to start reading Deadpool.

Guys a nurse at work is going to suggest Watchmen when it's her turn next at her book club. Apparently when they meet a couple of weeks later to discuss the book they eat in a restaurant that is similar to the them or location of the novel they have just read.

What sort of restaruant would Watchmen be? 1950's diner?

The top cover's from the Outsiders special, featuring a new team coming together now that Batman's gone due to RIP. The Creeper, Black Lightning Geo-Force and Metamorpho seem to be part of the new team judging by the cover. The bottom is for the Faces Of Evil special starring Prometheus, a villain who's supposed to be like Batman if he were a criminal. He made his big debut by almost taking out the JLA single-handedly in the (at-the-time) Moon-based Watchtower.
