Every college party I've ever been too, which is more then I can goddamn count, has featured:
Hot, close, uncomfortable quarters
Bad music
Stupid douchebags
Stupid bitches
The aforementioned doing stupid keg stands and vomitting
Then the police show up and someone gets fined.
You have to know which parties to go to
I much prefer the ones where I am friends with at least a certain portion of the people and know they won't attract police attention
failing that, always have an escape plan in case the fuzz make an appearance
Feeeh, large gatherings like that are just noisy and annoying. You can hardly even hear your friends half the time, but I totally used to enjoy the hell of 'em so I know where you're coming from.
But after three or four times either having to sprint away from cops and / or being pushed up against the back of cop cars it's just not worth taking risking anything just to get drunk with a bunch of people.
Some people I used to go to college with would invite me to their "sex" parties. I think that was just what they called them because the pictures that go up on facebook are just them drinking cheap booze and usually dressed in some stupid theme
And the ratio of guys to girls is not acceptable. And the ratio of gay guys to straight guys is just as bad. Then the ratio of ugly guys to hot guys just made it something I could never attend

The only awesome party I ever went to was at this apartment four of my superstoner buddies got, right above a hookah bar, where some of the best times ever were had. We had a tupac ressurection party on the day Tupac was supposed to come back from the dead. We tried to summon him.

I come back out like three minutes later and there's a line of maybe thirty or fourty people winding around the edge of the yard, up to the poor girl. I go up to a guy in the line and ask him if they're all lined up to vomit on the fence too, and he says, "We thought people were in a line to go somewhere."
So you've got a couple dozen people lined up around a yard, waiting to get on a bus or something. There's no bus, though. Just one poor, blacked-out drunk girl.
