Depending on what happens with Jean Grey in Marvel Noir ...
If they do a cool story and the dead body with the X is just a ringer and that's how she "comes back to life" and then pulls the mother of all casino jobs and none of it is cheesy
... then I will send a time machine back to this week and that part of x-men noir #1 will retroactively be my moment of the week.

no, all you have to do is read the interview to see that she has other motives other than just being bad again. He even called out Whedon and said that he wouldn't do change anything to stop making her awesome.

Thanks!
the group is not necessarilly... evil then?
norman is working with the crazys to get everyone a lil something of what they want, and less ruckus. this could be great.
edit also: There has been talk of making the x titles not in their own "bubble" from the rest of the marvel stuff; ie more incorporated in the larger world. this is great too; emma in this 'cabal' is step 1.
how can things be this good looking on the marvel side and Dc be dropping the ball this hard?

So did no one notice that motherfucking Static Shock is in Terror Titans?
Incorporating the Milestone charcters! Awesome. I hope Hardware's next. A pity Static debuted in TT, though.
Oh shit! Really? I mean, I hear Teen Titans sucks but man. Man! Milestone and Valiant had most of my favorite childhood characters. Static was awesome, and Hardware was the most hardcore.

It's really unfortunate that all the Milestone characters are debuting in series that I could not give less of a fuck about. Like, I really want to read the JLA arc with Dr. Light and the Milestone heroes, but not if Ed Benes is drawing it.
also, i'm kind of thinking tony might hit the bottle a little over the coming months?
he really got shit on to a depressing degree (i still love you, iron man!) and that last shot of him where he's sitting in the dark not listening to whoever was talking to him (was that supposed to be pepper?) totally made me want to drown my sorrows and i'm not even a recovering alcoholic
Emma's going to be in the X-Men Annual which will explain why she finds herself at the table, etc. I think the fact that it's being told as an X-Men story gives a bit of credence to the idea that she has a good explanation for being there.
I think he was talking with Maria Hill, and that was pretty depressing. Considering he's going to be chased by Osborn and HAMMER for whatever he has that Osborn wants, I hope he doesn't drink because he doesn't have time.
My hope for the Dark Illuminati, is that it turns out the whole group is being secretly run and manipulated by Frost and Cyclops.

That would be dumb, because the people who can even remotely promise her that are people she's smart enough not to cooperate with. (Loki specifically, possibly Doom)
However, I would expect her to be there if there was an offer to finish the Purifiers/Sentinels once and for all.

Doom would be easy to manipulate. Just say that if he doesn't work out they'll replace him with Reed.
Emma is probably involved because Norman said something like "Play along because I'm in charge of the superpowered community now and we really don't like mutants all that much and I can put you all in jail or kill you" or something

If the super-powered community that Osborn has influence over went to war with the X-Men they'd get the shit kicked out of them pretty much instantly. Not really a credible threat. More likely, he's promising that he'll help make mutants a more welcomed part of the culture, and probably kill the purifiers or something. He has pretty much absolute control over the media narrative in Marvel, so he can accomplish a lot right there.
And yes, Frost controlling the entire Illuminati would be the best thing that Marvel has ever done. And would probably lead to a World War X, which would be pretty badass too.

Man, aren't there like 15 futures where normal human types just kill every mutant?
I think if the dude in charge of most of the superest aspects of the military was like "So you know how we have sentinels again? We could have nano-sentinel seeds injected into every child at birth but we don't. But we could." it might get her attention.

If by best you mean one of the stupidest things ever, than yes, it would be the best.
He's going to abuse his power and kill people. If the Earth is a safer place for it, then that's only because it suits Osborn's purposes for it to be so.

Yeah I think that's where this is headed.
Looks to me that Dark Reign is pretty much Bendis' plan to redraw the line between good and evil now that Civil War has been gone long enough.
