So a movie just came out on dvd and bluray today called Chocolate. Its from Prachya Pinkaew, the guy who did ong bak, so you know its gonna be ridiculous. The plot sounds pretty dumb, its about an autistic girl who is a fighting genius and needs to kick some ass and get money for her sick mom. But who cares about plot, its basically a female version of a tony jaa film.

Anywho, yeah, if you love kung fu action movies, this is a must watch. If you don't like the genre, then i just feel sorry for you.

It's a bit more tame than Ong Bak and Warrior King, but everything is a thinly veiled excuse for the retarded girl to kick more ass. It's an excellent film to watch with some friends.

edit: Kung Fu panda was pretty solid.

hell yes it was. if it didn't come out the same year as wall*e, i would have totally called it the best animated film of last year. the action scenes were really well done. shame about the big guest stars having so few lines. like man, i would watch that cast in a regular old movie, no matter the plot.
