Is that some kind of counter argument? Are you seriously belittling Jack T. Chance?
Tumblr Twitter
its just that he only writes monthly series for the ones he does get
Guys, clearly the best GL is Kilowog. The best human GL is Guy Gardner.
I'm unsettled by how much I agree with you here.
Can we go fight about Black Panther? I'm scared.
Matt, I'm almost certain that BP is the only thing we disagree on wrt comics. Don't worry, I'll revive our quarterly argument as soon as I get my copy of BP #1.
However, I think you people are ignorant of how awesome Jack Chance was...
and that makes you all Poozers.
It's not your fault. He has yet to have a good writer in recent memory... as he stands now, he's pretty fucking bland as a character.
His defining characteristic is bubbles... tiny bubbles...
That was on JL/U, and that was because he was a Marine in that so he used his ring in the quickest and most efficient way.
In comics he's an architect (and I think McDuffie retconned him to have some military background) that literally builds his constructs from scratch. I think it's in the Sinestro Corps Special (the first part of the War) that you see him building a gun from all the individual parts.
But yeah, as far as personality goes, they don't really use/write him much so it's kind of hard to like (or hate) him in the comics.
And does having a ring enhance a person's imagination?

"Looks like Sinestro was just Frank Lloyd Wrong to mess with this Lantern!"
No, it's not.
Funny... that's all I saw him make in Rage of the Red Lanterns. Do you have something recent that shows this is not the case?
As much as I love Kilowog, I am equally fond of Mogo. To decide which is the better GL is like asking which testicle I'd rather have cut off.
I don't have anything with me right now, but in Green Lantern: Rebirth (or GLC: Recharge?), there was a scene with the human GLs all fighting, with little narration boxes about each one's style.
I'll go back and check tonight. I'm not saying John doesn't have potential... hell, GL's are all about potential. I'm just saying he needs to get a better writer. Johns doesn't really care about Stewart much.
... fucking kill me. Even on that show, as the ONLY Lantern, he was completely uninteresting.
Dude was banging Hawkgirl and animal chick. I'd watch a show just aobut that.
Justice League Diaries.
I do believe there are various corners of the internet that have you covered. Dark corners... where men fear to tread...

There's a special circle of hell for people who make architecture puns. I hope you know that.

Oh man, there should be a scene where someone is like
"Lantern Stewart, you're outnumbered! Do you need support?"
and he's like
"I don't need support when I've got this strut." then he dance-fights them.
Oh or he shoots a beam through someone and when they collapse he says "I guess that was a load-bearing organ."
Really, I feel like all the Lanterns would be improved if they spoke exclusively in puns related to their profession.
So hypothetically, can Sinestro Corps create yellow kryptonite gas, Red Lanterns create red kryptonite gas and so on?
GLC is kicking so much ass. I like it better than that other title (but it's pretty good too)
