Oh man, I just thought of something. Kid Rock is gonna be at WM... The Undertaker is gonna be at WM... Could this mean the rebirth of the American Bad Ass?

Please no. That was terrible. So so terrible.

But think of all the motorcycle-related angles that would come of it! Someone stealing his motorcycle, someone scratching his motorcycle's paint... Plus given the popularity of GTA: The Lost and the Damned, now is the perfect time!

While sometimes JBl as an announcer really annoyed the hell out of me, I can agree that he made a good heel announcer. And some times he did do a good color commentary/heel position in his announcings. Part of this being that quite honestly, Michael Cole deserved to be verbally bitch slapped repeatedly by JBL. I do not like his commentating style. Espcially in big matches, where at any pin fall he freaks out that the title is changing hands, or at taker WM matches where he yells "THE STREAK IS OVER, THE - STREAK - IS - OVER!" over and over.

I don't know how I feel about the posibility of JBL and JR together though. I think I'd be sitting there feeling bad for Jim Ross the whole time if JBL was the same way with him that he was with Micheal Cole.

Also, as mentioned before, Matt Stryker and todd grisham make a great team, mostly because of Stryker IMO. I never would have imagined he could be as good of an announcer as he is. And in his position, he can easily go from normal announcer to semi-heel almost with his support of Swagger and such. Also, the only time I've EVER learned anything from WWE was when he uses big words I've never heard before. Usually happens once every few weeks, but its a nice surprise.

I know you're joking, but a Kurt Angle/Undertaker feud started because Angle scratched his motorcycle.

God, it's sad I remember that.

Don't be pants-eager for her. It'll end in tears.

She looked pretty decent when she showed up in ROH a while back. Not like she used to but she kind if had a MILF thing going for her.

Did Chuck Palumbo came out on a motorcycle? When I play smackdown, it occasionally shows him on one on the loading screen.

Ha, you know, that would be kinda cool. I don't know if there's people that live in the same area or what not, but maybe we can arrange stuff like this for ppvs.

If not, I'm pretty sure the WWE had a link to all the public places that air their ppvs.

Oddly enough, I remember hearing that pretty much the only reason they haven't canned Sim Snuka yet is because they have that new show starting soon and they're considering him for an announce position. Maybe they'll just throw him right in at Smackdown.

    Good god.

And I thought the WWE was the one that loved outrageous stereotypes and objectifiying women. Wrestlicious does both without shame. WWE has kinda figured out that people are past that point. At the moment, maybe. It'll be back again, though.

Did you never watch GLOW or POW? This is just another incarnation of the same style, right down to the "surfer girl," "farmer's daughter," and "witch doctor" characters.

Those two shows formed a critical part of my adolescence. Especially Susie Spirit.

I'm SO sorry I didn't post about it yesterday before the show(or even a couple days before the show), but I completely blanked. Hell, didn't even think I was going to go to it(Scrubs and LOST are a powerful combo...), but it was pretty awesome. SSP had a charity event last night at Club Motor. We're going to have another show soon(like...next 2-3 weeks), but the details aren't really hammered out, so I'll let this thread know about it in the future.

    It was great, though...

Yes. But those were in the late '80s. We're past that now, IMO. You can make great characters that are characters, but when all of them are ancient stereotypes and played by women seductively, I think that goes past the line a bit.

Though, if it's all in fun and extremely sarcastic in it's stereotypes/other crap, then I guess it's fine. But if this is trying to take itself seriously...

They're billing themselves as an "action/comedy" as opposed to "wrestling", so I would hope they have no false pretenses about the shows they're putting on.

I still don't understand how their Saturday morning show failed. Wrestling + fun characters + kids (should) = success.

fucking kids these days and their emo music and cell phones, they don't know shit.

since Kaiju was Boston based and I was living there for many years I used to see them on a regular basis, so I hope they still have some decent wrestlers left when I see them tonight. I remember the last time I went they had a particularly funny move.

one guy straddling the top of the cage, but dazed. Other guy pulls a disposable camera out of his shorts and charges up the flash. Guy at the top of the cage comes out of the daze and is ready to strike the other guy who has climbed up near him.......BAM camera flash right in the face which disorients him enough to fall off the top. I just found that too amusing.
