A) Bullseye - Thats one big target you have there, fat boy Gorilla Grodd - Monkeys make me laugh... Tee hee
C) Honestly, I dunno. I'm not sure of the limits on Grundy's strength/endurance.
D) Deathstroke - I REALLY want taskmaster to win but he always get his ass kicked by anyone with a healing factor. It sucks. I really like the taskmaster
It's not really a healing factor.
He just heals a little faster. Not like Wolverine style shit.
The only match I'm sure of is the first one, because there's no way the Blob beats Bullseye.
Arm covering his face, thrash around until the whole store tumbles down, trample Bullseye while he tries to extricate himself from the rubble?
He was able to be injured by attacks directed at his face, as his eyes, nose, mouth and ears did not have the same blubbery protection as the rest of his body.
Can't cover the ears, the eyes, the nose, and the mouth all at once.

He could bury his whole head into the fat rolls of his arm.

He could bury his whole head into the fat rolls of his arm.
Even if he could cover his entire head through any means, he still needs to breathe.
And Bullseye could just guide Blob to the automatic sliding doors with his voice so that Blob, who's covered his eyes, ends up exiting the store.
The only way Blob could beat Bullseye would be to land on him, which is one of the primary ways blob beats anyone. This is not gonna happen, so Bullseye will win.
If only he had some sort of ability to, I dunno...maybe vibrate through solid matter?
Oh well.

I'm not very familiar with Solomon Grundy, so can someone explain why he's so good? He's a zombie-thing so Omega Red's death pheremone and life draining stuff probably wont work, but he still has neato soviet carbonadium tentacles and a handfull of super powers, what's stopping him from just tearing Solomon Grundy limb from limb whilst screaming russian obscenities?

Solomon Grundy is usually strong enough to tear Omega Red limb from limb. And as for hurting him goes, it's like Wolverine versus Omega Red, Omega Red being Wolverine in this case. Carbonadium may be strong enough to hurt Grundy, but Omega Red probably can't put enugh force behind his attacks to actually manage to do it.
I think I need some clarification on Solomon Grundy's strength and endurance for the purpose of this battle, is he at "Take on the whole JLA" level or "Getting beaten up by Batman" level or somewhere in between. Because that's going to influence my vote.
How powerful was he in his last appearance? Seeing that's the level everyone's at unless otherwhise stated.
That is a toughy...after his last appearence did he "die"? Because that would mean he could be different this time (he comes back different in both power and mind).
Personally I have always seen him as really strong, but even moreso tough...like he just keeps coming. I just don't think Omega could keep him down.
You guys sold me on the Taskmaster fight. Unless Deathstroke gets in there really quick and ends it, it will be a long drawn out fight with Taskmaster coming out with the win.
technically, Grundy's last appearance was being eaten by Dr. Psycho. It's not a good barometer of his abilities, unless he's going to give his opponent indigetstion.
SHUT UP AND EAT YOUR GRUNDY! is the best exclamation ever penned in all of comics. Thank you Vandal Savage, and thank you Gail Simone.
That Slade/Taskmaster fight is going to be fabulawesome. But he should have fought Deadpool. *shakes fist at hero tournament*

It's in Secret Six #4, I think. Savage expresses his disappointment in Grundy by grinding him up and making stew out of him, and expresses his disappointment in Cheshire and Psycho by forcing them to eat Grundy. It's a wonderful scene.

Why wouldn't Omega's chemical stuff work? Batman has defeated Grundy with chemical weapons in the past.
Grundy's largely plant. Also a zombie. Read Seven Soldiers. He is unliving. Omega Red's death factor is supposed to induce death, but in Grundy, there is no death to induce.

Plants don't die?
Can someone explain what he did in his most recent appearance besides be put in a stew? Reading his wiki, it's not clear what his power level is at the moment and gives him a range of anywhere from Batman beating him easily to Superman needing help.

The last time I remember seeing Grundy fight shit, it took a cosmic rod to destroy him. Cosmic rods are pretty powerful.
Thats the problem, Grundy is different every time.
I think Doom needs to tell us what level Grundy is at now.
As for plants dying...he's not a plant like Swamp Thing...he's a zombie plant. I always felt like he was plant material, but more the dead crap at the bottom of the swamp.
Grundy is too confusing to be in this tournament, so I'm just going to vote for Omega.
Batman has beat him. Green Arrow choked him to death, which is why I think Omega's chemicals would work, Grundy needs to breath so he's obviously alive. And Grundy's super strength and invulnerability are not up to par if those two can beat him in a hand to hand fight.

As has been said many, many times before, Grundy is also often much stronger than that.
And Grundy is dead plant matter and undead flesh. Pheromones aren't going to do much to him. Or at least not nearly fast enough to make Omega Red's death factor any sort of advantage.
Yes, I have even said he was shown to be able to fight Superman, however wiki has in his recent history Green Arrow choking him to death. Grundy being capable of fighting Superman was earlier.
A: Even through Blob is one of my two nominations in this thing, I gotta go with Bullseye. Although, damn, does everyone have an adamantium skeleton now? I thought you needed a healing factor just to keep it from killing you.
B: Hard to say, but Grodd has a better chance of winning later fights.
C: Also hard to say since Grundy's strength varies...I'll go with Omega.
I was tempted to say Deathstroke = Deadpool, and Deadpool > Taskmaster, but then, Deathstroke would never start dancing in the middle of a fight. So Taskmaster ftw.
Im still on the fence with Taskmaster vs. Dethstroke. I mean, Dethstroke is like Batman except he's got swords and guns! He's good for at least another round. Damnit.
So far I'm thinking: Bullseye, Grodd, Omega and Deathstroke. If doom comes in and gives us a set power level for Grundy and it's substantially more than Omega that vote will probably change. And Deathstroke/Taskmaster I keep switching back and forth on.

He choked to death you say.
That means he's different again. Him getting killed by whoever in whatever way is the worst measure of his current ability in the universe.

Well, if it was a green arrow that Judd Winnick wrote, I vote for not considering it cannon...he is a tool.

I think Bullseye only has an adamantium spine which isn't enough to kill you. It was how he got fixed after being paralyzed during Miller's run I think.

Or mabye run really fast.
As in, fast enough that he can avoid explosives as they detonate.
CRISIS OF RETARDED WRITING
It must also suck being able to run at the speed of light fairly easily and yet be totally unable to react in time.
Probably not. :?
I have to give it to Taskmaster because of the Marvel weapons doohickey and being able to pick up on Slade's moves.

I agree with this whole-heartedly.
Now that that's settled, let's all go back to talking about how awesome Green Arrow is.
...there needs to be a thread about that, really.
Though he does vary in exact level of strength and invulnerability everytime he comes back.

I wholeheartedly agree.
Except on the Taskmaster one.
I think that is going to be one hell of a close fight.

Knocked him down and cut his throat with his bowstring.
Grundy really really scales to his opponent.
