If there are three to five other people looking for a place to stay, we could rent out a private room at a nearby hostel. 20 minute walk from the convention centre, but only $20-$30 a person a night. Let me know if you're interested!

Additional Notes/Requests: 1 king size, one couch, pool, free 'net (wifi?) just phoned the hotel today and turns out they can't give me a 2 bed room so instead it's one king size bed. There are foldouts available upon check-in apparently. Unless a couple/good friends show interest, I get the bed although I don't mind rotating each night :-P
We are 'overloading' the room by hotel standards so someone who knows how to be discreet would be nice... there is a kitchen as well so feel free to cook your own meals as long as you clean up of course. I'll be getting back fairly late myself, so if you're a night owl like me, this would work out well.

I've had a huge change of plans, and I'm trying to do a really nice favor for a really good friend whose marriage just imploded. He needs his mind off of the mess, and PAX will do it. We have airline tickets, we have passes. We just need a room for Saturday night.
Do you have that reservation for a downtown Seattle hotel near the Washington State Convention Center, and are you about to cancel it? Rather than just let it go, if your reservation is for a room $170 a night or cheaper I'll give you $50 to put the room in my name and on my card so we can use it. If your reservation is for a room $150 a night or cheaper, I'll give you $75.
This would be for any hotel within a reasonable walking distance of the Convention Center.
And yes, I'm a very honest person. This is not a scam. Really. Just kinda desperate at the moment.

Now that I have lodgings for the 3rd through the 6th, I have booked an additional night from Sunday to Monday at the Sheraton hotel. The total cost for the room is $159.55. If you need a room for that night, let me know. There's only one bed, but if you can't carry a sleeping bag, I'll have one with me and will be willing to give up the bed if that's a deal-breaker for you.
