    Hi I am religion

we are compatable despite what zealots on both sides say

    hugz.

I don't know why people won't consider the theory that God created the first organism that eventually evolved and became what we now know as pretty much everything.

actually you're making a conceptual error here, because evolution doesn't actually have anything to say about how the first life got here
it just deals with how life diversified once it got started

it's not bunk, but it's a separate discipline (though related) from evolution

No, I'm saying that it could be said that God provided all the raw materials, and science took all of the Lords gifts and made shit awesome.

I just don't understand some people's problem with the idea of God setting up all the laws of physics, and then saying "let there be light" and sitting back and watching stuff happen.

Of course, I also don't understand people who need to make religion a huge part of themselves, so maybe I'm not the best person for this debate.

I'm not much for religion, myself.

I have a friend who goes to Catholic school who is all kinds of "THERE IS NO GOD GOD IS BULLSHIT"

    And I'm like whoa buddy.

    Whoa.

Maybe that wasn't the best way to put it.

I don't get people who need to make their religion so apparent to others, and prominently display it, and then not have a basic understanding of so many other common religions.

It's 2 AM here and I'm supposed to be writing about Hemingway anyway, so...

Teefs isn't your religion just weed?

    you misunderstood me
the conceptual error I was referring to was your claim that no one will consider that God created the first organism(s)
which wouldn't be a theory by the way, simply because it's absolutely untestable
