Hahaha what? I just checked those images in that visual novel thread. It's some kind of interactive porn from the looks of it. NSFW indeed.

Me too, Haps. If people start throwing around cartoons like Ulysses 31 I'll be able to wallow in nostalgia as well.

I'm genuinely surprised I watched this when it was out, yet somehow avoided falling into the twisted trap that is Sailor Moon.

No problem. Right now I'm re-watching on the Myotismon/8th child saga since I always thought that was the high point in the season. And I have to admit that I seriously love the "fan service" Digivolve sequences. The episode "Enter the Dark Masters" is one of my favs just because pretty much every digivolution is featured from the first season. Back when I was a kid I'd cheer and turn the TV volume up anytime a character evolved. I guess now I can turn it into a drinking game.

Of course. But I was a male, likely under 12. So you see how the gender-marketing division becomes like a mighty rock wall that we dare not pass.

    And now, another awesome show.

For me it's stuff like Captain Future. I've watched an episode of that show about a year ago. Which led to a lot of head scratching and puzzlement on my side.

Men In Black generally kicked ass - it was Ghostbusters for the 90s. I was just saying this to my Stepmom the other day. There hasn't been anything comparable to Ghostbusters or MIB for the 00s.

"Well, what about Evolution?" she asked.

We shared a look and, almost in harmony, said, "No."

My little sister was addicted to that show when I was back home, and god is it ever dreadful. I mean I thought something like Pokemon was bad but yeesh. We have come so far since the eighties.

Isn't that exactly what they are though? I mean all power to you if that's what gets your rocks off but it doesn't seem like much more. Are you saying they have a deep and engaging story or something? Challenging the taboo of full frontal sex in our mediums and the like?

Edit: Ugh, it's so wierd when my brother posts here. Though I thought (know) Flight of the Conchords was a band? They've done a tv show?

Y'know, I reckon that the next four (possibly five, or maybe even six) [chat] threads should be named after series of Blackadder. Largely because it was amuse me, and probably me alone.

[Chat]adder Back and Forth would suck, though.
