    He spoke moderately on gay rights from the get go and the Gitmo stuff has proven to be way more complicated than he thought. Also even though Pelosi's comments aren't being investigated it's clear there are a lot of national security issues he can't toss out the window as "failures of the previous administration."
    That's good to know, though. I mean, as much as we like to trash that guy, at least he did something he promised well.

    My dad wants Newt Gingrich to run in 2012. I think that is an indication of the health of the party more than anything else.

    Jindal is a nice guy and all and I'm sure he's a fine Senator, but the man has no sack. None to speak of. He lost in in an industrial accident or lost it in a bet or it's hibernating or something. It simply is not there.
