    also in the case of runaways people "waiting for the trade" might have well added to the problem of the low sales that got it canceled in the first place

    but I don't take this argument too seriously, I just don't like trades

    I like the issues too, but in some cases I only discovered a series after it had been out for a while, and getting all the issues would have been a pretty difficult undertaking. So having trades available is nice, and once I've started a series via trades, I will usually keep buying trades rather than switch back to issues once I've caught up.

    I don't dislike trades

    But I don't buy them instead of reading a comic in monthlies, either

    I own the first 9 Punisher MAX trades and some Preacher and Transmet

    But only because I can't get them in singles anymore!

    If they seriously reprinted Transmet as singles and just sold them in bundles I would buy it that way instead
