It already doesn't work anymore because she can read now and the central concept of her pitch was Cass being so into the Bible that she started struggling through it without really understanding it at first.
Unless the retconned her ability to read. Which I'd be all for.
Damien Wayne has a cat and a bloody fist. Given DC's current direction from this I extrapolate that he raped and killed Catwoman and then stole her cat.
I kid, that actually looks like it could be pretty good. Multiple Bats beating the crap out of bad guys should be fun anyways.
I like adult Damian. I also think that the story will be a prologue to #666, and perhaps even revolve around Dick's death as Batman. Hopefully Dick doesn't actually die, and the events leading to #666 are directly averted rather than indirectly averted by future Batman stories by different writers that ignore Morrison's continuity.
Has anyone here read the whole "War Games" event? I notice a few issues of Gotham Central I'll be reading in the third hardcover crosses over into it. Quality wise is it worth picking up? Should I also get War Drums?

War Games was bloody awful, I thought. Same with War Drums.
Wish Daniels wasn't drawing any of it though
Should get someone cool like Paul Pope
Look at Damian and Alfred the cat. Adorable!
Yeah, Daniel, Kubert, Finch, and Quitely?
One of these things is not like the other, one of these things, does not belong. But fuck it, it's Morrison and Batman. Batman R.I.P. aside, I think everything he's done with the franchise has been stellar. And R.I.P. was really only dragged down by the art.
And Nightwing gets taken out of the story as quickly as he did in RIP in one of those "what do we do with ____?" decisions.
actually, nightwing got captured on purpose because he figured it would be the fastest way to get taken to bruce.
(that's how i always saw it anyway)

I think we peeps had this conversation here or in another thread and the scan was provided and I thought it was still ambiguous about whether Dick meant to be captured or not.

i can see ambiguous.
i think we can all agree that the scene where he rips out of the restraints right as the lobotomy is about to start is just bad as hell, at least.
War games was where I came into comics.
It is terrible. And I'm pretty sure jumping into the thing blind and having to put up with all these irrelevant characters I don't care about, and have little to no part in the story is what made me hate most of the Bat-family at the time.
Though I mostly still felt that way after reading the majority of their solo books, so maybe not.

I guess it would be a reasonable bet that Gail Simone would be the writer, given her previous statement. And especially if it is in fact a White Canary book.

it feels right
gettin' that
Fabian Niecieza and Chuck Dixon
anyone else writin' him just ain't right
you are only allowed to write the girl robin that is not spoiler
Looks awesome, I followed Red Robin for a while but then fell off around #5 or something but the new arc looks pretty good.
I don't like the way DC does their previews though. I wish I could have some type of back/forward buttons on those pages
Sweet, sweet burgers.
I like it.

And Cassandra Cain deserves another cool costume.
Edit: On second thought, I looked at White Canary again and decided it's too reminiscent of Mortal Kombat characters like Mileena and Kitana.

Maybe she's going to appear in BoP after all, or she'll be writing her in the future?

Just not the AngelBat story.
I am excited

Also, in comparison to the other "gang war" type story of No Man's Land, it's no contest.

The only downside is that Billy Tucci is a really slow artist so it's like she never came back hurp de durp.
But good news, yes? I don't see Beechen or JT Krul's name anywhere near her.
They could call it Bat-Fu: The Legend Continues.
