    I went back and listened to the version of Father of Death that they gave out as a single, and Emily's voice is very different

    A completely different vocalist even, I think

    It was just kinda jarring

    I have listened to every Act II song an average of greater than once a day since the album came out.

    I've listened to Light Up the Night more than twice a day.

    According to iTunes, I've listened to this album 3 times per day on average ( 4 for The Hounds and Light up the Night ).

    I'm rather impressed with how they pulled off the letter at the end. With just the music, it sounded as if Emily had somehow written the letter while she was dying or was anticipating her death, both of which seemed strange. But it actually works very well as a reply to Light's letter from the beginning.

    Oh my goodness I just read this description of the Act II concert:
    For the first time...in history...ever. On the night of September 25th, 2009, The Protomen will perform their new album ACT II alongside their debut release ACT I. Equipped with 2+ stages, 10+ string ensemble, 10+ choir section, an unnumbered amount of horn players (not to mention the 10 piece that executes a normal Protomen show), and multiple visual aspects (projections/televisions), this will be the most challenging performance in the band's career to date. If you think you've seen The Protomen for all they are, then this night will change your thoughts.

    I am excited all over again. This week can't pass quickly enough.

    It's kind of hard not to visualize videos to some of these tracks.

    I really wish I had any experience with sprite animation.

    Sprite animation is fine when it's done right.

    And Megaman is one of the few things that suits it.

    I respectfully disagree.

    The Hope Rides Alone video was pretty awesome, but also very bizarre.

    I like the idea of different sorts of styles used for the different songs.
