Seems the Chinese accidentally on purpose have been putting phosphogypsum in their drywall they sold to the US during our building boom and during the hurricane reconstructions. Phosphogypsum is bad...like we ban it in our construction materials.
Well, looks like I'll be seeing some gypsum based work in the lab soon.

The worst part is it causes corrosion in places that normal oxidizers can't usually get to. Wiring, duct work, electronics, etc. It's not just stinky and bad material, but it can fuck up your whole house. Also, you know you're using it. It's not a 'whoops' kind of thing.

What is specifically causing the issue is new. They originally claimed it was a source of gypsum that had naturally occurring sulfurous pockets causing some stink. Instead, it's a banned gypsum source that causes all kind of problems in homes on top of being stinky.

SCIENTISTS FROM Israel's Technion University have unveiled a tiny robot, made using Micro-Electro-Mechanical Systems (MEMS) technology, purportedly able to crawl through a person's veins in order to diagnose and potentially treat artery blockage and cancer.
The little robot - with a diameter of just one millimeter - has neither engine nor onboard controls, instead being propelled forward by a magnetic field wielded on it from outside the patient's body.
Controlling the tiny bot externally means boffins have been able to shrink it to a previously impossibly tiny scale, allowing it to crawl its way through the typical human body's veins and arteries using miniscule outstretched arms which grip the vessel walls. Yes, that made us shudder too.

Many boffins died to bring us this technology.

Do you mean Bothans? Like the Star Wars race about which many of had to die to get the code for the shield protecting the second Death Star?
What the fuck is a Boffin? Sounds like some strange English candy that tastes like roasted meats and honey marmalade boiled in blood pudding eels spotted dick mash chips and fish.
