Once you get decent at the take downs, grappling, and submission in that UFC game it's fun to play online. Everyone just wants to stand toe to toe with no blocking and try to crush your skull in. All you have to do is time a double leg take down or sneak in for a grapple and judo throw, and the other guy is fucked. Weaken him with some ground and pound, and it's either a TKO or you work a submission. Then he calls you a cheap 'fagg0rtz' or some other crap and you laugh.

Pretty sure Wanderlei Silva did a few heavy weight fights in Pride FC and that one of them ended with Cro Cop knocking him the fuck out with left high kick.

i like how in the pre-fight interview, silva comes across as a prick who is like "i hate cro cop and i want to beat him up because he's famous and beating him will be good for my career"
and cro cop, despite the interviewer leading him, was like "well, he's a good fighter, although outside the ring he's a maniac and he said the other day he hates me, so i don't like the guy, but he's a good fighter."

not counting the eye pokes, sure.
anyway, i don't really look to Gabe and Tycho for sports commentary
any fight where i actually got good shots in and left the guy in at least as bad a way as he left me, felt like a good fight
it was a very juvenile attitude, formed largely of insecurities and a need to feel physically dominant over others
thankfully i have outgrown that shit and don't feel a need to assert myself over others in order to feel alive
I can understand that.
One time back when I was delivering pizzas there were about 6 dudes that jumped me in order to get pizzas. Three of them immediately ran off with the pizzas and the other three stayed back to lay into me while I was on the floor, I don't remember much, but I very clearly hearing my head go fuck this got back up, and started laying into one of them before the other two got some shots in, I think I punched another dude a one more times before they ran off.
About 5 minutes afterwards I was all, man, I feel awesome.
40 minutes after that I broke down and cried but immediately after the fight I felt pretty good about myself.
This made me laugh really hard. Like holding my sides because it hurt so much laughter. I have no idea why, but that was absolutely the funniest thing I have read in a long time.

oh, right, I knew several fighters can be played in different weight classes but I just checked and I don't see Wanderlei playable as a heavyweight
at first I thought they might've released an update or something, but it looks like that's not the case
cro cop is one of those athletes that causes people to watch a sport and go "I bet I could do that", simply because he's so gifted and so collected that it looks easy. You end up watching all the other fighters and saying "WHY DON'T YOU JUST FIGHT LIKE HIM YOU RETARDS IT'S CLEARLY FUCKING SIMPLE"
Sweaty Dick Punching can hardly be considered martial arts, as it was not practiced widely in Feudal Japan (I have a cousin who married an asian chick so I'm pretty much half-Samurai).
The main proponents of SDP teach it mostly as self-defense, and my Dojo has a big banner on the wall that says that offense is the only true form of combat. The Dojo is where I practice martial arts and often defeat very powerful people in unarmed combat, although I reluctantly admit that I have had to engage in asskicking on the street before. It's not my choice, though, the situation was clearly forced and my Tai-Fu-Wakka technique was employed only to protect the very attractive woman I was with.
You probably don't know her. She's from Japan. She does some modeling.
But really, historically speaking, the way I fight people is the best way to do it, except for the Spartans, who were totally awesome in everyway, except if they had known about my Dojo they probably would have trained there.
