In fact Slytherin has 2 former Omeganauts. <3

Two current omeganauts still beats two former. 8-) But this isn't a competition here.

Poor, poor non-Slytherins. It's so cute how you think there can be any competition. If I were you (and thankfully, i'm not...because being one of those wingding Huffleypufflys or silly Ravensfingers would be too much to ask of me), i'd just keep your eye on the prize...that SECOND place. Sure, it's not as good as First, but you're not as good as us.

Yet you had nothing bad to say about Griffindor. What kind of Slytherin overlooks an opportunity to insult Griffindor? One who is not a true Slytherin I say.

    1) Do you mean Gryffinbore?

    2) There is no reason to mention them for their place in this 'competition' is at the bottom. 4th place does not need any mention.

Sorry for the not much noticeness of this but my +1 can only get into Seattle after we all wizard out with our wands out. So it'll just be me showing up for !Ravenclaw.

Oh man those buttons hot. So is the back and forth between the houses on this thread... it's absolutely adorable to see you guys think for a moment that any of the houses even stand a chance against Ravenclaw!

No warning. Not like we need a lot of room anyway for two people to dance and if we can't dance in a bar, there is an issue.

We are throwing 100 plus people into the bar, there may be other issues to worry about besides two people deciding to dance in a bar, like fighting wizards.

Cause we all know how much Gryffindor and Slytherin hate each other.

Sure, the house might be full, but don't let a little thing like the rules stand in your way.

I have an issue that maybe the PAX community can help me solve, or maybe not. No pressure!

I live a bit north of Seattle. My friends and I made our plans late enough that a hotel seemed out of the question, so we're just gonna drive or bus and figure things out on a night-by-night basis. However, this won't work for the pub crawl, so I'm gonna have to withdraw if I can't figure something out. Any thoughts?

If you're looking for a hotel room and you're driving, check out www.hotwire.com or www.travelocity.com. They have hotels for $40-70 a night but they're all by the airport which would be a 15+ minute drive. Split that 3-4 ways and you're looking at pocket change for a roof over your head each night.

While this is ultimately up to your head of house, I will be looking for the following in Gryffindor:
    • Robes
    • Hats
    • Wands
    • Gryffindor Colors
    • Ties
    • Other wizardly accessories

Any combination of the following satisfies the costume challenge for me. I just try to avoid people showing up in a black shirt with WIZARD written across it in white letters.

I've been meaning to put together a guide entitled "Diagon Alley for the Discerningly Thrifty Witch or Wizard" so here's some quick tips.
    • Find someone who has a black graduation robe. Spice it up with some house colors and you're instantly a wizard/witch.
    • Check out cheapish costume kits such as this one.
    • Wear a bathrobe, a makeshift hat, and stick a branch in your pants (yes this has been done in the past)
    • Borrow items from a Harry Potter nerd
    • Rob someone

With a little bit of effort it's easy to look like you belong in your house.

Here is the official map showing all 7 bars that are included in the crawl. Each house has their own schedule listed in the OP so follow that. The first bar on the schedule is the meeting place for that house.

My costume has that but not colours as McGon always wore like green and black.

But at least my costume is slutty.

Seriously I typed something and it was eaten

I am not wearing house colours cause McGon never did.
But its stutty, that has to count for something. And I have a cape/robe, but no house colours

In Gryffindor sluttiness is a wizardly accessory.

Your post wasn't eaten, it's in the middle of what you quoted.
