Hate: Spent four hours barely getting to phase 2 on Northrend Beasts heroic (25). I mean, Icehowl came out a few times, but worms were nowhere near dead and some of us were, etc.
Also I think a mean spider or something must be hiding under my pillow cos this is the second day in a row I woke up with painful/itchy bites on my left hand.

I woke up and ran my hand across something. I was in a sleepy daze and confused as to what it was, thinking it may be one of my dog's toys that I was unfamiliar with. I then gazed upon the black beast, the scorpion. I grabbed one of my dog's chew bones and I slammed down on the scorpion. Thinking it dead, I lifted my weapon and checked to see if it was real or a dream.
It was a nightmare, its tail wrapped in a mortal coil, black heart still beating.
The beast was not slain.
It scurried off, desperate to find shelter, uncoiled tail lashing black death at its unseen attacker. I knew I had to strike again, failure here meant a spurned beast yearning for vengeance beneath my hearth and home. Never again would sweet sleep carass me gently into the night while this abomination lurked in the shadows.
STRIKE! STRIKE! STRIKE! Still it moved! STRIKE! Still but not dazed, it scurries more! STRIKE! Its impenetrable shell curses my every move, the black obsidan absorbing each blow into its dark abyss. Its freedom, my doom, lay inches before it. In an act of desperation I lunged, all of my might flowing through the chew-bone, and I pressed forth on the black demon.
I put all of my power, the weight of the world, into breaking the blackened armor of the beast. I held still, never relenting the force, keeping constant, crushing power and holding my entire weight on top of the bone.
*snap*
The armor had broken.
The needle tail lay still.
The beast did not stir.
I was victorious.

Hate: People who think that because they mined/farmed/made something themselves, that makes it "free". To reiterate again, mining/farming/making your own materials does not make them "free". They still have a value, you're just expending that value to the game by using them rather than giving the value to another player then expending them.
If you make something yourself, the cost is whatever you could have sold them for.

UGH I can't stand this. Up until this weekend I was selling enchant scrolls on the AH. Some turdgasm comes in and undercuts me by 50%
I whisper him and im like, uh, dude. They sell at 400g. Why are you listing them for 200g? The mats cost 300g
Hes like I farmed them myself so they were free. LOL.
Now there are like 15 people in a 1 copper undercut war at a price that doesnt even cover materials cost.

I'm a firm believer in the philosophy of a ruling class. Especially since I rule.
Hate: Nobody seems to want my Scroll of Enchant Weapon - Healing Power. It's the only SP enchant (or identical to the only one) that can go on heirloom items. How could you not want it?
(This is all pretty late, I havent posted here in awhile and have some catching up to do)
Happy: Got to go to Blizzcon this year... it was rad, but extremely crowded. Being there in person for the reveal of cataclysm was fucking intense and the excitment of the crowd was palpable. Got to play the demo starting areas for both new races. Despite what some people said I really enjoyed the Ozzy show even though it seemed a bit short. Seeing the song Iron Man live should be something everyone should do before he dies.
Sad: Didnt get a chance to play Diablo 3

I keep hearing about stuff like market manipulation, but nobody's ever really explained. I'm over halfway to "gold cap" and don't want to end up screwed just because well, people are lazy and I make bank off of it.
From what I hear it's aggressively buying all of something out and reselling at a higher price, maybe for multiple items or multiple times. And by "what I hear" I mean it's what the guys on my server's trade channel said, so take it with a grain of salt.

I’m not entirely sure of this, but my best bet as to why I got banned is for being suspected as a gold seller.
I managed to recently convince three friends of mine (IRL) to return to the game by basically bribing them… I promised them each 10,000g so they wouldn’t have to spend time grinding for epic and cold weather flying in addition to leveling up. They reactivated within a week of each other, I invited them to my guild and traded them the gold. I’m personally nearly at the gold cap and don’t really have anything left to spend it on so I figured what the hell…
I’ve sent an email back to the accounts department giving a detailed explanation of what went down but I really can’t blame them for suspecting me of selling the gold. It looks really shady… I suppose not many people are in the habit of giving 10k gold out to three different accounts with nothing in return unless they are getting paid for it.
I hope they are open to overturning temporary bans after the fact. Not so much the 72 hours lost but the mark on my account which will mean permanent ban if another mistake ever gets made. It's not a comforting thought.
If I do get this overturned, I'll definitely post here because it will be proof positive that it had nothing to do with the AH.

Ultra Happy : Downed 10 man Trial of the Crusader. Not many wipes to speak of at all. Anub down on the 3rd try. Missed out on the Fordragon Blades but then went to Uld and finally got Pyrite Infuser from FL.

Amused: With our enhance shammy gone I was topping the DPS charts again (aforementioned ret pally wasn't there last night). Go go ret pally! (Granted, our DK is still learning his dual wield frost spec and was right on my ass for every fight I didn't have to be prot for)
Happy: We had the floor bug in TotC-25, but found out about it in advance so we opened a ticket long before the raid in the hope of getting it fixed in time.
Hate: We were at Kologarn by the time they got around to it.
Happy: The GM was awesome. He said it was stuck, and asked us to all jump up and down to try to shift it :-)
Happier: Two-shot Anub'arak from there (Three-shot total given the experimental pull at the end of yesterday). One enrage, one kill.
And I hear I was being [happy] with my 5.7k gold. Now I am [hating] myself upon realizing that people give out 10k to their friends and others have over 100k gold. I [hope] I can get the urge to make some more so I too can feel like a baller.

Using signed for money is a good idea just to cut bugs off at the pass, because invariably someone will put code in somewhere that checks to see if you have enough gold by subtracting first and seeing if your total's above 0 rather than actually doing a compare between the two values. If that snuck into live for whatever reason and it was using unsigned numbers, then it'd be a way to instantly get over 400k gold.
