I was so looking forward to Scribblenauts that I ignored everything else and then was left disappointed. Picked up the new mario rpg (man.. if only it was mario rpg..) and have been playing it, but what else is on the horizon for the DS?
Anything new and exciting?
zelda should be good if it's longer than 4 hours and doesn't require you to go back to the same temple every 20 minutes
kingdom hearts just came out; that's supposed to be good

That fucking temple.
Almost killed a man over that damn temple, true story.
I played Scribblenauts for a few hours and haven't touched it since. It's fun but it isn't holding my attention at all.
Basically, yeah. It's definitely unique, but I would've liked it more if it was an adventure game like Drawn to Life instead of a level-by-level puzzle game

DS games can have surprisingly good sound, but if you don't use headphones you miss out on a lot of the subtleties.
Basically this. I never realized that some of the music in the newest Pokemon games were as complex as they are until I listened to them outside of the game.
I've made two attempts to finish the Phantom Hourglass and have gotten distracted away both times. Not even by other games...just other stuff, really. My DS hasn't been played more than a few hours over the last year and a half (My PH attempts were previous to this time period, of course).
I actually never really minded the Temple of Time. I sort of liked the whole mechanic of it. I know I'm in a minority here, but it was fun for me to get through it as efficiently as possible with the most efficient map notes possible, all while collecting items which opened up newer, quicker routes to descend the dungeon.
I understand how people would find it tedious. I guess it just appealed to a very niche sort of taste I have.
Also, man, Ninja Gaiden got real nice reviews when it came out, and I even enjoyed it a decent amount when I first bought it...but goddamn that game doesn't hold up for me at all. It's way too easy on regular, and extremely tedious on hard (wherein they simply spawn enough monsters in each room to bog you down for five minutes at a time.) You die easier, of course, but christ that game is tedious and repetitive on hard.

Man i was so excited watching that first trailer...then they cut to the throwback block graphics
why the shit can we not get more sprite-based DS games? Leave the 3d to the PsP, I want pretty sprite games!
also the ds's 3-d looks like shit at ALL TIMES

I found it to be the most interesting part of that game
Shoe, is Unplugged that good?
SteamID: Baroque And Roll
It's Amplitude/Frequency, but with rock music instead of electronica
It's great
8-)

Satans..... hints.....
the controls are so frustrating
failing a level after setting up the entire thing because the controls suck is very annoying
I can't imagine the wii version will be any good but the ds one might be pretty cool
It looks to be the same type of game, yeah. I'm wondering how the sound quality will be, though

So long since I've felt the gentle caress of the quick-reply box
Have you missed me, darlings? I've missed you

Other than a few new names and a few changed avatars, it's like sitting down on your own personal couch cushion
This place still has my ass imprint on it
