I vote for these terms for the new PC gender identity words. We could have a whole continuum.

Most people would be vanilla. Girls who make out with other girls while drunk for attention could be strawberry. Girly dudes/dudely ladies who don't think about gender are mint chocolate chip. Generally queer people can be rocky road. Teefs is triple chocolate brownie peanut butter chunk.

Being transgendered carries a lot of baggage, chrishallet

its very easy to discriminate against transgendered people all over, not as much here in Canada, but in the US (and and most European countries, save a few of the progressive ones like Swden), most states don't make transgendered people a suspect class, and many people have been thrown out of their homes by their landlords, fired from their jobs, etc because of it.

Fucken sucks if that shit happens. Why are you acting wounded over it? Wouldn't presenting a strong front (I.E. i don't care what you think of me) be more constructive than being whiny? Do what all the other minoritites have had to do - suck it up and tough it out. Shit will get better eventually, but for a while you will be fighting conservative douchebags. A positive outlook may help in the meantime.
