you know what sucks
when you get lots of nibbles and no bites
fuckin meeting awesome girls on the internet and IRL and we get on really well and flirt like crazy and then I ask them out and SUDDENLY THEY FUCKING DISAPPEAR
Being in a relationship puts me in a far far far better place
I feel like this isn't the healthiest way to live
I'm self-sufficient
But it's pretty dang awesome waking up every day and going "dang I have a girl who isn't my family that loves me"
That's a pretty good feeling to have!
Maybe you shouldn't be finding dames that stress you out so much!
It's insanely awesome, and as much as I want it I try not to need it, because if I'm not happy with my life I'm not taking my chances on someone else making me happy
and the dames usually aren't the ones making me stressed, just the stupid games I play with myself trying to figure out where things are going

here is a romantic thing (depressed singles shouldn't read the below)
a couple of weeks ago I was singing sound of music songs as Blake wrapped up his Secret Satan presents with brown paper... specifically, "My Favourite Things"
yesterday I found out I got rejected from one of the universities I wanted to go to here
I got all depressed because of it, and on top of not being able to do the degree I will also not have a visa to stay in Australia, which made me feel like I let us down
Blake was meant to go climbing after work so I wasn't going to see him when I got home
he was at home when I got home and he told me to go get changed (I had just coached volleyball so I was all stinky)
sitting on the bed is a brown paper package TIED UP WITH STRING
I open it up and it's a Snow White and the Seven Dwarves blu-ray DVD (he knows I love the Disney movies) with a note that says "never mind brown paper packages, you are! don't forget it"
I promptly burst into tears because I was just so touched by the gesture
he actually tried to find Beauty and the Beast because that's my favourite one but Snow White is just as good, it was so sweet

viv I tried to buy beauty and the beast recently and it's that thing where disney stops producing a dvd to get people to want it real bad and then releases like a collector's edition for $35 and everybody goes out to buy it
