A guy who was in my class in high school had one of those undiagnosed heart conditions.
He was a healthy kid, did well in school, didn't do anything more serious than your average high-school kid and by all-accounts was a nice guy.
One day during junior year there's an emergency page over the PA system warning everybody of a medical emergency and insisting we stay in our classrooms. I've never heard one of these types of pages before but it sounds like really serious business.
Apparently, right in the middle of his literature class, this kid starts having some sort of seizure, falling out of his chair and convulsing to the shock and horror of his classmates.
Guy is still alive today but he's wheelchair and has very little mental faculties. Supposedly he can recognize his former friends and family (he smiles at them when they enter the room) but is unable to communicate in any way.
His parents wheeled him in for every school event and he was given and honorary high school diploma but it was all very sad.

There was a girl I went to college with. She was my RA and then we both ended up going on the semester abroad to London program.
Before the trip, my friends and I joked about the forms that we had to sign detailing the process for bringing us or our remains back home if we were taken horribly ill or injured or we died while we were in Britain.
The girl had an undiagnosed heart condition. She went on a weekend trip to the continent with some friends, and when the plane back to London landed, she collapsed and died within 15 minutes. She was (i think) 22 years old.

i had a stroke due to a genetic condition i've had my entire life, that none of my former drug use or violent lifestyle had anything to do with
That's a horrible mutant power.
