Teefs the dual stab is hideously useful for codex pages and such
I routinely fell on two guards and then dual stabbed the other two in like 3 seconds
also it makes you feel like a fucking pimp

The one thing I'll say about the Uplay thing for sure is to not get that theme.
It's an old style theme where it just has the different pictures depending on which "blade" you're in, which basically means it's dumb to look at with the NXE dashboard.
I did however get a sweet AC2 Premium theme when I purchased the game on Amazon, which looks pretty rad. Friends all hanging out by hay carts and Leonardo flying machines now.
Rodrigo Borgia was one of the most openly corrupt and evil public figures in history. Part of me is actually a little amazed that he did not manage to destroy the Catholic church completely.
Fighting with no weapons is the best. Because then you get to take the axes and the spears and the broadswords, and they have the best deaths. The one with the axe where you catch them from behind sounds so gross.

yeah, once i realized how awesome those deaths were i just started hunting brutes for their big weapons. i kept having to find more because the counter deaths were the coolest but you lose the weapon inside the person.
I really liked this game. But I'll be damned if any chase sequence in this game isn't made frustratingly difficult by the controls. This game suffers from "too many actions, too few buttons".
The controls are my only gripe. Everything else is good.

I really wish the first Assassins creed had been anywhere near this good. That setting would have been fun to be able to do stuff in.
Too bad you could only do like 4 things and the combat was just COUNTER. New combat is better

Really? It seemed like winning in combat in this game consisted of waiting for dudes to attack, then countering.
Never played the first one.
I mean you can, but I do all sorts of other things that are way more fun than that. Usually I run around grabbing guys and slitting their throats, or throwing them off buildings. Or grabbing them and headbutting them. I had a fun moment where I was taking three guys on, I had beat on one guy a bunch, right after I finished his two friends he ran up to me, I headbutted him once and he went down.
Throwing money to distract the bad guys is cool, as is the dead body thing.
I still want to see the next one take place in Industrial London all killing Jack the Ripper and working with Sherlock Holmes and stuff. Granted, he isn't an actual historic figure, but it'd be fun nonetheless.
I'm just not that interested in being a future assassin with Desmond.

you just wait
wait and see what they manage to rope into this thing
that crazy monk dude sounds awesome
If anything, the game was kind to this guy. (game spoilers on the page)
I think you go into Extras on the game menu when you first start up the game. Haven't done it myself yet though.
Slowly walk towards a group of guards, pop my dual wristblades
Come on motherfuckers, it's on
I find keping at mid level in Venice helps to find them.
edit: I love that about venice. You can practically run from one end to the other without touching the rooftops or the streets.

But I can't find that 100th feather anywhere.
Captain Commando tops this list
Don't you see? The feather is inside you.
everything is permitted?
It doesn't get you anything
Except an icon-free map and a clean soul
My estate rakes in enough for me not to care anymore about them
Next runthrough will be no hud though if I can do it.
