well three missed field goals could be construed as a gift, but you're right. I'm not claiming they didnt deserve to win either playoff game but it's still bullshit.

That shit happens in sports all the god damn time
At least the Bengals payed for it so far
If the Jets beat both teams that laid down in from of them in the regular season I will laugh my ass off.

I really don't care about how they got into the playoffs, I was just hoping for them to win in the WC round. This is cooler than anything ever. I'm expecting an assload of comparisons to the 07 Giants now, so I'm going to do my best to keep my TV off this week.
If the Jets do win, I think I'd rather them face the Saints. The defense only gave up 10 points to the Saints offense during the regular season and then 5 picks later the Jets get blown out.
So, the Jets winning is pretty shocking, would be pretty crazy if they beat Indy, but I just don't think Peyton'll lose to The Jets.
Doesn't really matter who makes it to The Super Bowl though, it'd have to be a pretty epic game to beat out the Pack/Cards WC game. I'm talking about Giants beating Pats epic here.

Really hoping the Saints come up big this coming weekend.
Hoping so hard...
If only to avoid the inevitable "lol looks like GB made a mistake(they didn't) lol lol lol!" bullshit I'll have to put up with if Minn makes it to the Super Bowl.
Edit: I hope you voted for Clay Matthews for Rookie of the Year!

Of course they were the BALTIMORE Colts back then, meaning if the Ravens had won it would still be an interesting history-repeat-thingy.
Still though, young Jets QB, Colts are HEAVY favorites.
The only difference is Indy's legenary QB isn't hurt. The Colts trotted out Earl Morrall because Unitas had arm problems all season. He would throw three picks in 17 attempts, but mostly they were hard luck picks off of deflections and bobbles.
My Dad, a Steelers fan for life, says Manning is one of the greatest QBs and that he will probably be remembered as such. Is this accurate? My Dad undertands football, I don't really. I just watch it, and have fun watching it, if someone else is watching it.

Yes it is very accurate. He's the the only 4-time MVP in league history.

Peyton Manning will go down as one of the best QB's in football. Like him or not, his stats are phenomenal and he wins games. The guy loves to score points.
I mostly just know he is pretty good, and that he could probably have a long career as an "actor" after he retires. And he advertises the Sony Bravia. He's on the box my tv came in!

I don't know anyone that genuinely dislikes Peyton Manning. He's very likable and considering how good he is the attention he gets couldn't be more deserved. Assuming he doesn't implode a la Tiger Woods the NFL really couldn't ask for a better poster boy.
I'd say he would make a great coach but he practically already is one for the Colts.

I see him being more than a coach. Possibly the NFLPA head (assuming it survives) or some other nationally known position. I wouldn't be surprised if he ran for office of any type.

I dunno. I can't really see him not being directly involved with a team. I think being head of the NFLPA may be too far removed from playing football for him.

no amount of revises can change that
Well, I can understand you. That's fine.
I think I'm just gonna lay this all on Goose, because while Sanchez sucks, Ryan and his KSK persona are enough to counteract it.
all of the other dudes are fat yeah, but he has no neck
or at least his neck hangs down to his moobs
goose and duck, water based birds that ruin the reputation of a football team that plays in new jersey

I'd say Mangino is more like the blob.
Yes, I forgot I showed such amazing bravado with all my predictions of grizzly Jets losses.

I think he'll coach somewhere.
